NWA Anarchy Episode #49 TV Report

NWA Anarchy TV Report
Episode 49
February 5, 2007

By Ca$hflow X

WRESTLING: (n.) \’res-ling\ A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) \an-ar-key\ (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- On last week’s edition of NWA Anarchy TV, Dan Wilson pulled Jeff G Bailey’s leg and left him slobbering after he forced the ether rag down the attorney’s throat.

- Greg Hunter and John Johnson reflect on the heinous premeditated attack by Dan Wilson on Bailey and Slim J becoming the first grand slam champion in Anarchy history. Jerry Palmer heads out to discuss the embarrassing tag team title situation. He decides that there should be a cooling period for UAS and Justice Served. Justice Served has been suspended for tonight.

- Sal Rinauro holds another edition of the Sal Rinauro show. Tonight’s special guest is the newly crowned NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Slim J. Before he heads out, Rinauro reveals the answer to the Riddle of the Sphinx: What did the candy bucket say to the candy? Hey, sweet thing. The crowd aahs and pops for the joke. Now, let’s bring out tonight’s blessed scapegoat. Sal begins to kiss Slim’s ass. Slim says it feels good to be champion. He thanks Rinauro about their travels. Rinauro talks about what happened to some smelly and rotten bottle of Gatorade. Currently, Rinauro is a teetotaler and only drinks Sprite. Slim celebrates with a smile, but without a Coke. Slim turns around and Rinauro silences the crowd with a bottle of Sprite. The crowd congratulates Rinauro as he heads back to the locker room.

- NEWSFLASH: Jeremy Vain doesn’t sound very nice. It’s not supposed to be nice. No longer will he be identified as a letter of the alphabet.

1. Jeremy Vain vs. TC Carnage
THE MATCH: This is a battle of former NWA Tag Team Champions. Vain takes over by dropping Carnage’s head on the top turnbuckle and slams his shoulder on the ring post. He focuses his attack on Carnage’s neck. Johnson compares Adam Roberts to Bear Bryant and Carnage to the just fired Mike Shula. Now who is the better Alabaman? After taking a beaten for several minutes, TC finally makes his comeback and scores several near falls. Carnage heads for the High Rent District, but Roberts spots Carnage by tossing him to the mat. Vain finishes off Carnage with the VKO and the VDT for the win. I felt like I just typed the name to two venereal diseases.
WINNER: Jeremy V
COMMENTS: This was your typical run of the mill singles match that saw two storylines pushed: Vain’s singles push and continuation of the Roberts vs. Carnage feud.
RATING: *½

2. Chris King vs. Chris Damon
EPILOGUE: The NWA Elite pulls up into the parking lot.
THE MATCH: You mean they had an incredible match. No way, Jose! The NWA Elite decides to release their frustrations on tonight’s enhancement talent. They deliver a complete beatdown on everyone, including the referee.
INTERVIEW: Bailey commands the NWA Elite to dispose of the garbage. The only reason Wilson has been around is because Bailey has allowed it. He crossed the line when Wilson cost Jeff Lewis the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Title. He promises to smother Wilson with a special chemical formula. Unlike Palmer, who cares for the fans, Bailey doesn’t. Bailey promises to slit Wilson ’s throat and burn his mommy’s house down. Boy, will the fans feel like slime balls when they cheer for the NWA Elite.
WINNER: No contest.
COMMENTS: Is Bailey a great speaker or what?
RATING: N/A

3. NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles match: Urban Assault Squad (Nemesis & Shadow Jackson) vs. Brandon Phoenix & Brody Ray Chase.
THE MATCH: The Urban Assault Squad dominates Phoenix until he lands the good old Greco Roman thumb to Jackson ’s eye. Chase connects with a spin out suplex for a wimpy one count. The heels work over Jackson until he tags in Nemesis. Nemesis immediately goes on the defensive after a strategically placed Greco Roman thumb to the eye. They beat over Nemesis for the next several minutes using traditional heel tactics such as blind tags, distracting the referee and choking with a headband. Jackson receives the hot tag and he goes to town on Chase. Phoenix nails Nemesis from behind and uses a STO to score a two count. Nemesis uses the Cracka Breaker on Phoenix for a near fall. This ends up with Jackson receiving the double whip, but Nemesis pulls Chase to the floor. Jackson catches the unsuspecting Phoenix with a spinebuster for the victory.
RESULTS: Urban Assault Squad retains.
RATING: *¾

- OVERALL: The pacing of the show seemed to get thrown off by opening with three consecutive interviews. With two commercial breaks during the Roberts/Vain match, it was hard to get into this week’s show. The major storylines were continued while a new heel was established as we build up towards Season’s Beatings ’06.

NWA WRESTLEBIRMINGHAM

B. G. James became the new Alabama Heavyweight Champion, as NWA
Wrestle Birmingham returned to the Zamora Shrine Temple in Irondale ,
Alabama Friday night for another dose of Southern wrestling nostalgia.

It was clearly one of Wrestle Birmingham's better shows. The top three
matches all worked and exceeded expectations in the process. It ran a
little long (over 3 hours) but they kept the breaks short, which has
been a problem here in the past, and the crowd was hot for the main
matches. The house was somewhere between 400 and 500, slightly more
than their last show here in September, and less than half of what TNA
drew here three weeks ago.

Cowboy opened with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

(1) El Mexicano (with Gina) beat Joe Hogan with the Tijuana
Tortilla in 7:07.
He was blessed with the physique and the natural
ability, and now with added experience, Mexicano is ready for a push.
Match was hurt by a lack of role clarity. It's tough when the heel is
clearly a better athlete than the babyface. Hogan took over with a
wheelbarrow sitout facebuster. He hit a twisting crossbody that was
beyond his reach. Mexicano have him a beating. The aerial highlight of
the evening was Mexicano running up the ropes for a plancha to the
outside. Hogan made an aerial comeback, but the crowd wasn't buying
it. Mexicano got the pin after a top rope backflip to his feet and a
Latino version of the Samoan drop. His style would fit right in on
WSX. They got a tight shot of Mexicano trash talking in Spanish for
the TV show.

(2) "Exotic" Adrian Street (with Miss Linda) beat Aeon Flexx (with
Marcel Pringle and Ricky Roberts) to retain the European Title in
9:41.
Flexx had gained weight to where I barely recognized him.
His Canadian heritage notwithstanding, there's something that's just
wrong with a guy in that shape wearing Bret Hart's colors. Still, he
works very well with Street. Flexx and his cohorts are known as the
Dog River Boys (Gulf South Wrestling). Street his amazing for his age.
The spot where Linda removes the wig always gets a pop. It was their
typical comedy match. Street made Flexx a member of the kiss-my-ass
club and kissed him. When Flexx went to consult with cowboy-looking
Roberts, Street said there was something strange about it and made the
Brokeback Mountain reference. Street mounted Flexx like he was a bull
rider. Pringle interfered set up the heat. Street made the comeback
with European uppercuts. Finish saw Roberts up on the apron for the
double team. Street moved. Flexx ran into Roberts, who tumbled onto
Pringle. Street gave Flexx a piledriver to score the pinfall.

Pringle said Street had done a wrong thing by messing with the DRB.
Pringle said he would beat the freak and take his belt. Street said he
would rip Pringle's throat out and make him eat it, and the thing was,
you had no doubt that at age 66, he was fully capable of doing so.

Special Enforcer Bill Franklin presented Cowboy with a special
appreciation trophy. Legit. No angle. Cowboy said he believed in
Wrestle Birmingham and talked about it in terms of being an
alternative to the WWE stuff on television.

(3) "Maddog" Dan Sawyer pinned Henry Hoss with a bulldog at
3:42.
The Maddog is a tribute to the legendary Buzz Sawyer, but he
looks more like a smaller version of Crusher Blackwell. Sawyer is
local, so he had pretty strong crowd support. Hoss is a big ol'
Tennessee boy that had a run with NWA Wildside. Not a bad match. Let's
just say they made a wise choice by keeping it short. Hoss heeled.
Hoss missed with a middle rope splash, and Sawyer wasted no time going
to the finish.

(4) Diamonds in the Rough (Elix Skipper & David Young with Robert
Fuller & Gina) beat The Fire & The Flame (with "Mr. Motivation" Jimmy
Powell) to retain the NWA Wrestle Birmingham tag titles in 13:55.

The great David Boone was the referee. Fire and Flame were built along
the lines of the Assassins and worked an old school style. Young had
an ugly welt on his back from the belt shot he took from Johnny
Swinger Wednesday night in Phenix City . Solid match but not much heat
because it was two heel teams, although Fire and Flame didn't do any
cheating to speak of. The masked men worked on Skipper's arm. Young
did awesome job selling and bumping for their corner splashes. Young
escaped from splash number three and Skipper flew with a spinkick.
They beat on the smaller of the two flammable guys. "Hey Powell, I
think it's time to motivate `em, don't you?" said Fuller. Young hit a
moonsault. Skipper kicked the crap out of the guy's chest. They went
right to four-way action off the hot tag. Powell hit Skipper with
knucks. Then he used the briefcase but hit his own guy instead.
Skipper got the pin.

Powell and Fuller did some awesome mic work. They made it clear that
the fix had been in. Fuller said he gone from being a doubter to a
believer in Powell's motivational skills. "I know I'm terribly
motivated," said Fuller. Powell referred to Fuller as "Robbie." Powell
said he had been feeling rejected by the people. Powell said Fuller
was the brains of the family, said he was THE MAN and really pumped
him up huge. Fuller said he had never like Powell, but he sure had
started to like him now. Powell said he had a book and a DVD for sale.
Powell said Diamonds were motivated by titles, the fans were motivated
by cold beer and fried chicken or whatever, but the biggest motivator
was money. Powell pulled out a wad of 100 dollar bills. Fuller made a
futile grab for the dough. Meanwhile, Powell picked Fuller's pocket.
NWA official Roy Lee Welch came out. Powell said the last time he had
something significant to say, Nixon was president.

Michael St. John interviewed Welch about the status of Loser Leaves
Town matches in Wrestle Birmingham (at a previous show, Welch had
announced that they were putting an end to them). Welch said the
despite the scolding he received from owner Linda Marx, the promotion
would continue to have loser leaves matches and the stipulation would
be enforced for the upcoming Tommy Rich/Bullet match.

(5) Tommy Rich defeated The Bullet in a Loser's Leaves Town Match
in 1:56.
Rich wrestled without a shirt, and when he took off the
leather vest, it wasn't a pretty picture. Rich punched Bullet while
the ref was checking him for foreign objects. Bullet got the sleeper
on. Rich initiated a ref bump with Roy George. Robert Fuller ran in,
slugged Armstrong and revived George to make the three count.

Fuller blamed Bullet for breaking up his 30 year team with Jimmy
Golden and claimed they don't talk anymore because of Bullet. Fuller
gloated about Bullet being gone forever.

(6) The NWA Wrestle Birmingham TV Title match between Dennis
Condrey and Brad Armstrong ended as a no contest after Condrey wasted
five referees (9:14). Condrey retained the title.
They did a
routine with a battle of top wristlocks where Condrey appeared to
convince referee Roy George that Armstrong was using hair. But George
was onto him, and it ended up with George taking Condrey down by the
hair for a big pop. Condrey used a blatant short cut to "win" a test
of strength. Condrey popped Armstrong right between the eyes with the
heel of his hand for a near fall. They started trading. Condrey
slugged George. A second ref that looked like Jack Black hit the ring
and got the same treatment. Condrey ran through five refs, and
finished up by slinging Boone through a row of ringside seats. George
said he was sick of the abuse, and threatened to permanently suspend
Condrey if he touched one more ref. George started a ten count.
Condrey left, but not before attacking Boone out of George's sight.
Nice pop for Armstrong's work.

(7) Mike Jackson beat Daffney (with Robert Fuller) via DQ at 12:09.
Daffney retained the NWA Wrestle Birmingham Junior Title.
Super
heat for this match. It's been a great program. Jackson and Daffney
are both way over, but with different segments of the crowd. The
Daffney lovers think their "Million Dollar Baby" can do no wrong, and
detest Jackson for being willing to get physical with her. On the
other hand, you have Jackson as the beloved local hero, justified in
his actions because Fuller has screwed him beyond belief. Jackson hit
the ring with a miniature baseball bat. Fuller said the people didn't
come to see Jackson take a bat to a lady. Jackson said they had been
getting on his nerves for month, and if Fuller got involved, Jackson
was going to put the bat "where it ain't very comfortable." Jackson
referred to them as Tennessee Dud and Douche Bag Daffney. Jackson said
Fuller had called him a drunk, put him in a ditch and almost put him
in jail, and he was taking the belt. Daffney stuck her chest out.
Jackson backed off at first. Jackson then locked lips with Daffney and
spit out the residue. Fuller had a long conversation with the ref.
Daffney slapped Jackson in the face and ran. The ref cautioned Jackson
about using the fists. Daffney slapped Jackson to break an armbar and
used the ref as a shield. Jackson teased a spanking and Daffney ran
again. Jackson finally nailed Daffney with a lariat, but the ref made
a super slow count. Jackson hit a hangman neckbreaker, and the ref
wouldn't even start the count. Jackson locked knuckles with Daffney
and did the old school ropes walk. Then he did it again using
Daffney's ponytail. The ref upended Jackson . Daffney did a double
stomp to Jackson 's gut. The ref fast counted. Daffney hit an
impressive bridging northern lights suplex for another fast count.
Daffney dumped Jackson out to Fuller. He gave Jackson a beating and
choked him with a chain. The ref tried to intervene. Fuller clocked
the ref. Back inside the ring, the ref announced that the deal was
over and started a 10 count on Fuller. Jackson spanked Daffney.
Fuller grabbed Jackson 's leg and posted him. Fuller went for a
piledriver. The ref blocked it. Fuller beat the hell out of the ref.
Jackson punched Fuller and went for a reverse roll up on Daffney.
Fuller got involved again. Jackson grabbed the baseball bat. Fuller
and Daffney ran away. Senior official Mike Pedey (the seventh ref to
appear) declared Jackson the winner.

(8) James Storm pinned Jake Roberts at 15:32. Five years ago,
the odds on Roberts and Rich both still being alive in 2007 looked
pretty long, much less wrestling on the same show. The crowd was amped
for this. Storm's mic work got great heat. Storm was mad about being
back in "Hellhole, Alabama ." He said he had heard guinea pigs that
talked better than the heckler in the first row. The crowd popped when
Jake came down the aisle with the snake bag. Jake was clearly up for
this match, and Storm was fantastic at carrying the action. Storm
refused to get back in the ring until the bag was removed from the
ring. Jake made the ref take the beer bottle out of Storm's corner.
This was Jake in a gentle, comedic babyface persona. Storm sold like
crazy for Jake's offense including an elevated wristlock. Jake used a
full nelson and tried for the DDT, but Storm slipped away. The picked
up on it with a "DDT" chant. Roberts ate a knee at the 6 minute mark.
Storm took over with Dick Murdoch style elbows from the floor, as Jake
was laying on the apron. Jake tied himself up in the ropes and took
punishment. When Storm went for the pin, Roberts pulled him off by the
trunks and exposed his buttocks. Storm applied a very lengthy sleeper
hold. Roberts was able to keep the crowd into it just by the way he
was waving his arm to show life. A Roberts jawbreaker left both men
down. Jake hit the short arm clothesline and went for the DDT. Storm
hooked the ropes to block it and got the pin with his feet on the
ropes. Not a stellar match. There was no way it could be. But it sure
was some fine theater.

Roberts DDTed ref Roy George and took out the snake. It was a good
eight feet long. Roberts put the snake on Storm. Storm got the hell
out of there. Robert let the snake crawl all over George's face and
then put it down his pants. Ring announcer Chase Dee ran for his life.
It ended with the crowd chanting "Jake the Snake."

(9) B. G. James (with Eddie G) beat McNasty (with Robert Fuller) in
an Alabama Street Fight to win the Wrestle Birmingham Heavyweight
Title in 12:22.
A fun brawl. Tons of weapons. With McNasty
involved, it was going to be stiff. The previous match had taken the
edge of the crowd, but they got into it as it went along. McNasty said
if James' father and brother couldn't help him, that tapeworm guy sure
couldn't. James brought McNasty in the hardway to start the match.
McNasty took an upside down bump through the ropes, and a bump over
the top rope on an Irish whip. They brawled to the back of the arena
and used a lot of trash barrels. McNasty fired a plastic trash barrel
into James' face. James dented the wall with McNasty's head. McNasty
was busted open. McNasty used a chair and a metal trash can lid on
James. James exploded a cork bulletin board on McNasty's head. That
was different. McNasty took a nasty hiptoss onto a section of the ring
barricade that had been propped up against the ring. Bent the hell out
of it. James sprayed a fire extinguisher all over McNasty. Back inside
the ring, McNasty put a metal trash can on top of James and went for a
flying kneedrop. Bad idea. A 10 foot ladder found its way into the
ring. With James laid out below, McNasty climbed to the second rung
from the top, but Eddie shoved him off. Fuller hit the ring to help
McNasty. But an unmasked Bob Armstrong came to the rescue with a
foreign object. He decked Fuller and McNasty with it, and James
covered for the three count.

Postmatch, Fuller confronted Welch about Armstrong's involvement.
Fuller was furious because Bullet was supposed to be banished from
Birmingham . Welch said he didn't see any Bullet, he saw Bob Armstrong.
James said he was the new daddy of the Alabama Heavyweight Title for a
show closing pop.

NOTES: The return date for Zamora Shrine Temples is 5/19. The next

NWA Wisconsin 2-10

Thank you to all who attended the show last night.
Over 100 wrestling fans were treated to one of the
most controversial shows in local wrestling history!

Playboy Troy def. El Vato Jose Guererro /w Chris
Gambino

After a great quick paced, high flying match the wily
veteran, El Vato, fell prey to the new comer Playboy
Troy's quick thinking. After slipping on a styrofoam
sandwich box left on the ring by his partner Gambino,
Troy covered Vato with feet on the ropes for the pin.
Playboy Troy is successful in his debut in NWA
Wisconsin by pin fall.

After the defeat, Vato told the crowd that he was
tired of carrying Gambino and that he was looking out
for himself from now on. Right after Vato told the
crowd and Gambino what he thought of them, Rev.
Johnson came out to the ring once more to call out
owner Jason Jerry. Jerry, not pleased at all, had the
technical staff play video of the humiliating
situation that ended last months show. He then stated
that Johnson was holding people like Mason Quinn and
Bobby V. off of the shows because they would not cater
to the Good Reverend. Jason also stated that the twin
"Slimeballs" of Ed Chuman and Carmine DeSpirito flexed
their NWA muscle and refused the consent to the
stripping of the NWA Wisconsin Heavyweight Title from
Dinn T. Moore. Since he couldn't give number one
contender Adrian Lynch the match he earned, Jason
christened a new belt, the N.E.W. (North Eastern
Wisconsin) Title to be contested in the main event.

Gods Gift to Women Kevin Krueger and Love Machine Matt
Longetine def. the High Fivin' White Guys (Jerry Stylz
and Don Gotti) /w Cari Lynn and Weezel

It didn't take long for the crafty veterans to take it
to the young High Fivin' White Guys. Classic tag team
action, isolating Stylz for the first few minutes of
the match. The tables were turned however when Stylz
and Gotti used their managers to distract the official
and double team Krueger and keep Longtine out of the
contest. But the plan backfired when both Stylz and
Gotti accidentally took out their managers and Gotti
got a taste of Krueger's Lady Killer. Krueger and
Longtine win by pin fall.

on the line, these to men seemed more focused on
taking the title in a the most brutal way possible.
After a back cracker the knocked the wind out of
Colucci and, several minutes later, a lariat that
knocked Dredd loopy the action spilled to the outside
of the ring. With wrestlers being thrown in to walls
and being beaten by chairs Referee Eric Chioda counted
both competitors out. The fight continued to go for
another few minutes until Dredd left the arena. After
collecting his belt and the thanks of the Baba Louie's
fans, the Cadillac also collected on more thing. A
steel chair flying out from the curtain and connecting
with his head. Anne and Dredd continued to berate the
champ until security removed them. Colucci retains the
belt as the result of a count out. NO CONTEST

Cookie Cutter Chris Gambino def. The Goalie Ian Xavier

The classic battle between the two behemoths punished
the very framework of the ring. Gambino got a surprise
during this match, a very inebriated El Vato in his
corner. Apologetic for his earlier behavior, Vato
finished an entire pitcher of fine malt beverage and
cheered on the Cookie Cutter. Also, a first in the
great history of our great sport, the crowd sand the
Star Spangled Banner not once but TWICE, to voice
their displeasure at the Canadian Ian Xavier. The
match came to a screeching halt when the Cookie Cutter
unleashed the devastating Cookie Cutter and the Goalie
to collect the 1-2-3. After the mach however, Vato
distracted Gambino long enough for Xavier to collect
his wits, and his hockey stick, and served up a
vicious beat down. Vato also beat on the Cookie Cutter
and told him to stick it. Gambino by pinfall with
streamers.

Title Defense---------------------------

Jason Dukes vs. The Latin Sensation Esteban Molina –
TIME LIMIT DRAW

The match opened with the Champion Dukes belittling
the Latin Sensation over the microphone and also
bragging about how he, Jason Dukes, has the best body
in wrestling. At this, the crowd at Baba Louie’s
provided the Champion with a female patron’s
brassiere. Not one to let the crowd get the better of
him, Dukes wore the bra on his head, but Molina took
advantage and started an onslaught of offense. The
action was fast and furious to the very end with
Molina hitting a huge high risk maneuver from the top
but it was too little too late. The fall occurred at
15 minutes 14 seconds, 14 seconds longer than the 15
minute time limit. Still NWA Midwest X Division
Champion, Jason Dukes.

Moline asked Dukes for five more minutes, but Dukes
said that if wanted five more minutes he needed to ask
the promoter for a 20 minute time limit and left with
his title.

--------------------------NWA WI: N.E.W Title
Inaugural Match--------------------------------

Adrian Lynch def. J-Cash and Dysfunction

The first ever N.E.W. Title match was not only one for
the ages, but one of the most controversial matches in
Wisconsin wrestling history. The tag-style elimination
match opened with Cash and Lynch trading ground
attacks until Lynch, frustrated, tagged in
Dysfunction. After a few more tags and powerful moves,
Cash eliminated Dys with a top rope leg drop. Only two
contestants remaining, Cash tossed Lynch to a corner,
incapacitating Referee Colonel Tom Walker. Cash tried
to cover Lynch but got a HUGE surprise. SHANE HILLS ,
no longer employed by NWA Wisconsin, entered the ring
and gave Cash a Hillbilly Jam. Leaving Lynch to cover
Cash, Walker counted the pin. First Ever North Eastern
Wisconsin Champion, Adrian Lynch.

At the sight of the interloper Hills, the ENTIRE
locker room emptied to get their piece of the
turncoat. Ben Johnson came to the ring and got between
Hills and the NWA locker room. Johnson picked up the
microphone and asked Hills why he was in his ring. The
Johnson dropped the bombshell of the night that the
Reverend himself invited Hills! Security was called in
to remove Hills and Johnson from the building while
the NWA crew took the ring and led the crowd at Baba
Louie’s in a NWA chant to close up the night.

NWA Returns To Richmond !
( Richmond , Va ) "When is the NWA returning to Richmond ?" was a question
asked repeatedly. Many fans wanted a return to Richmond after an
extended absence. Well, after months of haggard and heart wrenching
negotiations, the National Wrestling Alliance and Ground Zero have
come to an agreement. That agreement will allow the National Wrestling
Alliance to conduct shows in the Ground Zero facilities!
While the terms of the agreement are sealed, the parties involved are
very happy with the agreement and are looking forward to a successful
relationship.
"We have the facility, and the training ground. The NWA brings in an
established product. It is a natural pairing and one that we are
looking forward to developing," said a Ground Zero Executive who spoke
on condition of anonymity. "This is going to be something."
"The NWA will be able to conduct steady shows and build up its
product, as well as push and advertise the Ground Zero training
facility. There are also plans afoot for the NWA on the Atlantic
Coast , and it is going to be fantastic to see how things develop in
Virginia ," said NWA Promoter and BOD Member Rick OBrien.
The first date for the NWA in the Ground Zero facilities is scheduled
for April 7 with a 7:30pm bell time. Matches will be announced as they
are confirmed.

SANTO RETURNS TO THE ORLEANS ARENA!
El Hijo del Santo y Psicosis vs. Super Parka y Billy
Kidman
At the first Wrestling Summit in Las Vegas , a packed
house of screaming fans saw the one and only Santo in
action! When asked what they wanted to see when the
NWA brought the Wrestling Summit back to the Orleans
Arena, a return trip by the lucha legend was at the
top of the list. This time Santo will be teaming with
another lucha legend, former WCW & WWE superstar
Psicosis! The two will be taking on the formidable
team of Super Parka & Billy Kidman. The hatred between
Santo and Super Parka has not subsided at all given
their lengthy history. Will Parka dare wear his mask
to the ring again against the man he lost it to, and
if he does, how will Santo react? And how will
Psicosis react to finally getting back in the ring
with Billy Kidman, the man who took his mask in WCW
several years ago. Kidman recently sabotaged a planned
Psicosis appearance in Puerto Rico , igniting this once
dormant rivalry. Come see what Psicosis’ response will
be. Legendary feuds collide in Vegas!

WRESTLING SOCIETY X LEAVES THE BUNKER!
Los Pochos Guapos (Joey “Kaos” Munoz & Aaron “Jesus”
Aguilera) vs. Human Tornado & Matt Classic
For the very first time, a Wrestling Society X match
will occur outside of the bunker you see every week on
MTV. Compliments of Big Vision Entertainment, these
four larger than life personalities jump from your
television screen to the Orleans Arena floor on
February 25th! On one side is the tandem of Kaos &
Aguilera, two of the highest regarded young Mexican
American athletes found in any sport today. In the
other corner is the duo of Human Tornado, the P-I-M-P
of W-S-X and the masked Matt Classic, an old school
throwback wrestler frozen in time since the 1950s.
Will the teamwork of Kaos & Aguilera be enough to
counter the intensity of Tornado & Classic? This is
one historic confrontation that you will not want to
miss! WSX action in an NWA ring for the first time!

COPA DE LUCHA FINALS RETURNS AS A FLAG MATCH!
Team Mexico: Los Luchas (Phoenix Star y Zokre)
Team USA: Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson & Joey Ryan
The final round of the Copa de Lucha Tournament saw
one of the most exiting encounters in Nevada wrestling
history as Phoenix Star y Zokre took home the trophy
over the American tandem of Anderson & Ryan. The NWA
would soon find out that these two teams were far from
done with each other as the next several months would
see them embroiled in one of the hottest feuds
anywhere in wrestling. Anderson & Ryan had gone as far
as stealing the Copa de Lucha trophy, brawling with
Los Luchas into other people’s matches and, most
despicably, badmouthing anyone and anything Mexican in
an attempt to get under the skin of their opponents.
Los Luchas would not tolerate any more of this and
issued the challenge. On February 25th it will be a
Flag Match between Mexico and America ! After the dust
settles only one flag will be raised and only one
National Anthem will be heard. Last time they tore the
roof off. This time they will bring the whole building
down!

FANS DREAM MATCH!
Super Porky vs. “Classic” Colt Cabana
“An incredibly funny and entertaining wrestler who
uses comedy to prevent his opponent from realizing
that he is also one of the top technical wrestlers of
his time.” In Mexico this statement applies to the
legendary Brazo de Plata better known as Super Porky.
In America , the same goes for Chicago ’s “Classic” Colt
Cabana who is rated among the top wrestlers anywhere
in the sport today. So alike. So different. Porky vs.
Cabana! What more can be said other than that you will
be entertained!

NWA HERITAGE TITLE MATCH!
Champion: “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce
Challenger: Nelson Creed
In the short history of the NWA Heritage Title, “Scrap
Iron” Adam Pearce has managed to create a great deal
of controversy in his defenses. His recent attacking
and injuring of Babi Slymm did not go unnoticed by
Slymm’s multitude of allies in the locker room. First
to hit the ring in was Canadian Nelson Creed who
promised to get his hands on Pearce no matter what it
took. Granted a shot at the coveted title that Pearce
holds, Creed takes the battle to Sin City . They say
that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. The Scrap
Daddy hopes that his title reign doesn’t stay there
when he returns home!

25 MAN KING OF THE SUMMIT BATTLE ROYAL!
One man will stand at the top of the Wrestling Summit
after this 25 Man Battle Royal! Two fighters will
start and be joined by another man every 45 seconds
until all but one has been eliminated over the top
rope. Scheduled to appear: KAFU, Ray “Boom Boom”
Murillo, Angel Armoni, Bobby Jo Marshall, “Iceman”
Webster Dauphiney, “Ghetto Psycho” Bigg Q, Tommy
Wilson, “Diablo” Donnie Tsunami, Peter Goodman, Sexy
Chino , Tito Aquino, Tommy Kim, Sonny Samson and more!

FOUR CORNERS TAG TEAM WARFARE!
JJ Perez & TJ Perkins vs.
E.G.O. (Nathan Rulez & AJ Kirsch) w/Johnny LaRocca vs.
The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) vs.
Midnight Dynamite (Johnny Paradise & Charles
Mercury)JJ Perez & TJ Perkins vs.E.G.O. (Nathan Rulez
& AJ Kirsch) w/Johnny LaRocca vs.The Young Bucks (Nick
& Matt Jackson) vs.Midnight Dynamite (Johnny Paradise
& Charles Mercury)
Four of the hottest teams in the always-exciting NWA
Tag Team division will face off in Las Vegas , but only
one will walk out the winner. The problems between
Perkins & Perez and the team known as E.G.O. have been
well documented. Now they get the chance to finally
settle the score at the same time that the Young Bucks
and Midnight Dynamite get to decide the winner in
their year-long feud. There is no love lost between
these four teams and no one will be surprised to see
this one spill out onto Tropicana Avenue and on down
to the strip!

These 7 classic confrontations, plus 2 more matches
will make this Wrestling Summit even bigger and better
than the incredible first one. So please join us for
all the action! Bring the kids, bring the neighbors,
bring the neighbor’s kids! The National Wrestling
