-- News from today and the last few days...

-- Triple H's quadriceps surgery concluded without any complications as reported on WWE.com, and also confirmed that the quad tendon had indeed torn off the bone and his right kneecap and was reattached. Hunter was said to have a positive attitude and wasn't nervous about the surgery as it was conducted by Dr. James Andrews who has worked on Hunter's previous quad tear and many other WWE wrestlers. Hunter will spend the next three weeks in Birmingham, AL (where the surgery took place) and is said he could be walking in six weeks but will still be on the shelf for 4-6 months. No matter what the sentiment about Hunter may be in the internet community I've always been a fan of his and hope for a smooth recovery for him.

-- Sylvain Grenier was arrested yesterday by state police in Peoria, IL for going 96MPH in a 55MPH zone on Interstate 74. Grenier was in a hurry for the Smackdown TV tapings which he wasn't even a part of. A WWE co-worker paid the $200 bail and got Grenier out of jail two hours before the show and Grenier will have to return to Peoria for a scheduled court date.
