WWE or bust: Missoula man follows his dream to be a professional wrestling star (The Missoulian)

Like most dreams, Shamus McCarthy's surfaced early.

β€œI was really into it by the time I was 9, I went on the Bruise Cruise when I was 12, and by the time most of the other kids had moved on in high school, I was still hooked,” the 20-year-old McCarthy said.

β€œIt” was professional wrestling, the choreographed sport known for its masked villains and their wacky names, the signature moves and stylized storylines that routinely feature good versus evil. The Bruise Cruise was a custom cruise where wrestling fans could meet their idols while cruising to the Bahamas. Shamus' mom, Linda, took him when he was 12. Click here for rest of article
