BREAKING NEWS: LADDER MATCH CONFIRMED FOR SUNDAY APRIL 15!

This past Sunday at Turner’s Hall as part of the ever-escalating tag team title picture in CAPW, the stakes were officially raised to a level never seen before in CAPW.

It was scheduled to be Christian Faith & Vincent Nothing, CAPW Tag Team Champions Faith in Nothing defending against Jake & Dave Crist, The Irish Airborne. The Airborne was originally scheduled to challenge Faith in Nothing for the titles last month, however a mysterious and suspicious “transportation problem” conveniently left the Airborne unable to appear and even more conveniently, Virus & Unknown, Q&A, just happened to be completely prepared to challenge for the titles in their place. However, despite defeating the champions via disqualification that night, CAPW management ruled Q&A would NOT receive a rematch the next month, and instead that match would go to the rightful top contenders to the gold, The Irish Airborne.

The Airborne were more determined than ever headed into our live event at Turner’s Hall this past Sunday afternoon. Not only did they have revenge in mind for Q&A after Q&A’s apparent sabotage of the Airborne’s title shot the month prior, but they also knew they had to make their title opportunity against Faith in Nothing count, as who knows how long it would take to earn another opportunity. With Virus & Unknown conspicuously scouting at ringside, Faith in Nothing and the Airborne battled in one of the most high-flying, fast-paced, hard-hitting tag title matches in recent memory. However, when it seemed the Airborne had victory in reach, the jealousy of Q&A consumed them, and Virus and Unknown interfered in the match, screwing the Airborne out of yet another opportunity to become tag champions.

Faith in Nothing were not pleased either. Two men who pride themselves on competition, Faith and Nothing, did not want a cheap tainted victory. They prefer to win their battles on their own, and prove clear dominance over all other tag teams. With both competing teams irate at Q&A, Virus & Unknown retreated, but soon returned with an equalizer: a ladder. It was clear the CAPW tag title picture was continuing to spiral further out of control, and Faith in Nothing’s hopes of proving themselves as the clear superior team were becoming bleak.
Seeing the chaos around him, Vincent Nothing knew there was only one possible solution.

The only way to bring finality to this dispute, to establish once and for all who does and does not deserve to call themselves the rightful champions, is to place all 3 teams in the ring at once and throw the rulebook out the window. On Sunday, April 15th at Turner’s Hall in Cleveland, Ohio 3 teams will enter one of the most dangerous death-defying matches in professional wrestling: The Ladder Match. The tag titles will be suspended high above the ring and the only way to retrieve them is by climbing a ladder. The first team to retrieve the titles will call themselves champions.

Will the brash, arrogant Q&A prove they are the rightful and uncrowned tag team champions, still worthy of wearing the gold due to having never lost them last year? Will Jake & Dave Crist make their mark in CAPW as major players and finally overcome the obstacles and setbacks set forth by their jealous rivals? Or can Faith in Nothing realize their goal, and prove themselves the superior dominant team and begin to etch a legacy that they hope to build on for many years to come?

We will have much more coverage right here in the coming weeks, as we count down to the CAPW Tag Title Ladder Match on Sunday, April 15.

CAPW vs. JCW SIGNED FOR APRIL 15!

In recent weeks, we’ve touched on CAPW being represented very prominently as part of the nationwide wrestling/music tour presented by The Insane Clown Posse and Juggalo Championshit Wrestling. Not only was CAPW Champion Tracy Smothers featured in the early dates in the tour, but CAPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Zach Gowen has appeared on every show of the tour. Furthermore, JT Lightning appeared at the Cleveland event, and is scheduled for upcoming appearances in Pittsburgh and Detroit as well. Senior referee Bobby Potter appeared in Cleveland and Philadelphia and will be in Pittsburgh as well. Chris Kole made a cameo appearance at the Cleveland event also. However, now on April 15, it will be CAPW’s turn to have home field advantage, as the CAPW vs. JCW series comes to Turner’s Hall.

Heavyweight Champion “Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers & his frequent tag team partner JT Lightning have been business associates for quite some time now, and seem more determined than ever, even going as far as relieving former advisor Krystal Frost of her duties. Tracy & JT will be opposed however, by two of the toughest, most hardcore individuals you’ll find anywhere today: 2 Tuff Tony & Madman Pondo, two men who are very dangerous, and certainly are not afraid to bleed. Smothers & Lightning were so hated at the JCW live events, that fans nearly rioted on several occasions. Now that same volatile atmosphere comes to CAPW, and Tony & Pondo will be fighting for the honor of the entire Juggalo family on April 15.
