NWA Anarchy TV Report
Episode 58
April 9, 2007

WRESTLING: (n.) \'res-ling\ A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) \an-ar-key\ (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- We begin this episode of NWA Anarchy TV with replays of Chad Parham tossing a cup of coffee into Slim J's eyes and costing him his match with Jeremy V, and "Mr. Representation" Al Getz costing the Urban Assault Squad their tag titles in a defense against Justice Served. In case you didn't know it, Al Getz received a "Welcome back" chant.

- Greg Hunter & John Johnson reflect upon the events of last week's show. This week, it's the NWA Elite vs. Devil's Rejects where the respective leaders are banned from ringside.

- Patrick Bentley voices his comments toward his former tag team partner Seth Delay and Adrian Hawkins. This is a darker and edgier Bentley, who one who is pissed off that his tag team partner betrayed him. He talks about trust, being betrayed and one who never forgives.

1. Andrew Pendleton III & Venus DeMarco vs. Brody Ray Chase & Brandon Phoenix
THE MATCH: Johnson immediately harps upon the debuting Venus DeMarco and confuses him with the internationally known Venus De Milo. Lucky for me, I live in the same town that possesses one of only three De Milo statues in the world. Johnson reflects upon "that weirdo" Bentley coming off his rocker. Hunter reminds Johnson that Bentley is frustrated beyond belief. The conversation turns to Truitt & Shatter putting on a great effort on last week's episode, but falling short against Chase & Phoenix. Hunter says it was a good experience for the Marines and says ditto for this week's opponents. DeMarco tags in and lands an elbow drop. Hunter calls it the "Fozzie elbow drop", but Johnson conveniently corrects him by calling it the "Fonzie elbow drop." They argue about correcting each other, but we can all agree that the Fonz is more than TV Icon. DeMarco runs into Chase's boot, but takes back over with a flurry of offense. Pendleton tags in and Chase catches him with a Greco Roman eye poke. Pendleton makes a brief comeback and pounds on Chase in the corner. After commercial, Chase takes Pendleton to town with an uranage slam. Johnson admits that you can make it to the top of the game with bribery. Well, it certainly happened in CWF Mid-Atlantic where the TV champion bribed his way out of a title defense by offering the challenger a beautiful young lass. It's like the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase used to say, "Everybody has a price." If you asked me, Pendleton & DeMarco should have bribed their way out of this contest. Back to the match, Chase stiffs Pendleton on the arena floor. He tosses Pendleton back into the ring where Phoenix catches him with a suplex. The crowd trade dualing chants between Brandon and Andrew. The heels continue their attack with a Phoenix punch to the gut and Chase swinging neckbreaker. He makes the cover, but DeMarco makes the save. Chase follows up with the Stray Cat suplex and then poses to the crowd. Chase drops a stiff knee and distracts DeMarco so that Phoenix can choke his adversary. Hunter inquires Johnson, "What is a also ran?" I don't think Johnson really knows either. Phoenix dips for a backdrop, which affords Pendleton an opportunity to deliver a swift kick and make a swift hot tag. DeMarco tries to clean house, but the crafty veteran Chase delivers a neck wrenching Ace Crusher. The legal man, Phoenix, wins the match with a STO.
WINNER: Chase & Phoenix.
COMMENTS: If Chase & Phoenix were to wrestle jobber tag teams (or in the old days of Mike Jackson & George South, enhancement talent) every week from here to eternity, it wouldn't bother me. Chase is awesome at two things: throwing opponents around like Paper Mache and garnering heat from the crowd. This match shows one thing that is great about Anarchy holding television tapings every other week because it will allow outside talent an opportunity to shine.
RATING: *½

- "Mr. Representation" Al Getz introduces himself and receives a mild pop from the crowd. Soon, that turns to heckles from the crowd as he unloads a barrage of jibber jabber. He reminds everyone there would be no Anarchy without him. A fan yells out, "We don't care." However, he continues to blather about NWA Anarchy Owner Jerry Palmer begging him to save the promotion. Several fans continue to heckle Getz, so he threatens to punch the next fan in the eye that interrupts him. Getz takes action and heads over to ringside where a fan is repeatedly punching himself in the eye. Getz tells him, "I'd punch you'd stupid, but you're already there, you piece of garbage." Holy #####, that was AWESOME~! Getz heads back into the ring and scorns Palmer for being a selfish bastard. The crowd doesn't like it one but and chant that Getz is a homo. Getz prefers questions regarding his preference remain in the closet. He references Fright Night about Justice Served getting the job done and Palmer picking sides when serving as special guest referee at Season's Beatings. The segment takes a nasty turn when Getz calls UAS "a couple of Oreo cookies, black on the outside and white on the inside." I wonder if Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson is listening to that one. Getz continues his racially charged speech by calling UAS Palmer's lap dogs and errand boys. Did I forget to mention that he outright called them "Boys?" Getz tells UAS that he is control, is calling the shots and UAS will not receive a rematch. Palmer has an ass whipping heading his way and they are there for justice. Finally, Getz shuts up as the crowd continues to take digs at him. Wow, this was a great segment.

2. Urban Assault Squad (Nemesis & Shadow Jackson) vs. Blood Rayne (Michael Rayne & Billy Blade)
PREMATCH: Billy Blade wrestled for several Mid-Atlantic promotions in December, including a pair of matches with ACPW (Clinton, NC) Owner Tracy Gilbert: Carolina Wrestling Entertainment and Ring Wars Carolina. If I correctly recall, he wrestled a tag match against Henry O. Godwinn & Ray Gordy in Deep South Wrestling.
THE MATCH: The UAS are pissed and proceed to beat the living wazoo out of them. Johnson is correct in his assertion that Blade should pull out a cross and beg for mercy from UAS. Rayne takes a viciously stiff beating from UAS. Blood Rayne momentarily takes over with a double Hot Shot. Blade tags in and makes the cover after Rayne lands a slingshot suplex, but Nemesis kicks out at one. Nemesis takes personal offense and executes a butterfly suplex. Jackson tags in and lands the Kick of Fear. After commercial, UAS continues to manhandle their much smaller adversaries. Blade heads in and eats a chokeslam. Nemesis finishes off Rayne with a top rope kneedrop cross Jackson's knee. Johnson calls ER an idiot for not being able to take cues.
WINNERS: Urban Assault Squad.
POSTMATCH: Jackson apologizes to his partner for losing the tag straps because he wasn't mean enough. They're tired of playing Mr. Nice Guys and promise a return to the old ways by hanging some crackers after introducing a pair of nooses. No kill the cracker chants? Damn, I miss that chant.
COMMENTS: Let's just say Michael Rayne paid major dues after taking that top rope kneedrop.
RATING: *

- Coming soon to NWA Anarchy: the Hollywood Brunettes. Andrew Alexander orders a Sex on the Beach and a redheaded slut for Kyle Matthews. Good ole cueball doesn't have his beer card, but he pours some good old alcohol while the bartender is out anyways. They spill their drinks on Mr. Cueball and note it symbolizes Anarchy's tag division of nothingness without them. They conclude, "Blondes may have more fun, but Brunettes always get the job done."

3. NWA Elite (Onyx & Jeff Lewis & Abomination) vs. Devil's Rejects (Iceberg & Shaun Tempers & Dominous)
THE MATCH: Harold James drew the shortest straw to referee this contest. If you ask me, I feel for the referee because he doesn't know what he has gotten himself into. While the other four men wrestle, Dominous and Abomination stare each other from their respective corners. Early on, Onyx takes Iceberg down with a huge belly to belly suplex. With the other two Rejects making a quick retreat, Dominous and Abomination continue to stare each other down from their respective corners. The NWA Elite work over Tempers until he catches Lewis with an armbreaker. Iceberg lands a mammoth legdrop on Lewis's injured arm. After commercial, Iceberg drops an elbow to Lewis's arm and later on lands a headbutt. The Rejects continue to work over Lewis's arm for the next several minutes. Onyx gets the tag after Lewis nails Tempers with his cast. Dominous & Abomination continue to stare down as all four men enter the ring. As the other four men head to the floor, they confront each other in mid ring. Iceberg waffles Abomination with a chair to no effect. Dan Wilson heads out and smartly pulls his troops from the battlefield. Abomination turns on Onyx and Lewis by delivering a pair of stiff two hand chokeslams. Reinforcement heads out only to receive two handed chokeslams of its own. Abomination finally relents, walks out of the NWA Arena, screams like an Abomination and handles the security like an Abomination.
WINNER: No contest.
COMMENTS: The announcer effectively put the storyline of two monsters staring each other down. It could have lasted five minutes or an hour; the real story was really about Dominous being totally mesmerized by a monster larger than he and the inability to control Abomination without Jeff G Bailey around.
RATING: N/A

- OVERALL: Anarchy continues to deliver great interviews and enthralling storylines. It didn't hurt when you have Brody Ray out there every week throwing opponents around and jawing with the fans since it's a perfect combination. Good episode.

Last night’s NWA Wrestle Birmingham show in Graysville, Alabama was fun times at the wrestling, an alchemy of the old and the new that was just right for the promotion’s target audience.

With a standing room only crowd of 275 totally into everything they were seeing, the heat was extraordinary, the type that can cover up a multitude of sins. That, and the relaxed, feel-good vibe at the Graysville Community Center made it virtually impossible not to have a great time.

The main storyline developments revolved around “Mr. Motivation” Jimmy Powell, as the mastermind-by-proxy of evil for Robert Fuller. Powell lost some battles but won the war, as Dennis Condrey emerged as the new with NWA Wrestle Birmingham Television Champion.

(1) Anton Leveigh pinned Brandon Barbwire after the Border Destroyer. These were two talented, young guys from Missssippi that had worked out a nice match. They went a fast-paced 8-10 minutes with lots of hot moves. It would have fit in well on an NWA Anarchy show. WB fans have seen very little of this style, and they got into the technical quality of the wrestling. The Border Destroyer is a version of Petey Williams’ move. An unexpectedly strong opener.

(2) “Maddog” Dan Sawyer beat Jason Phoenix in 4:39.Sawyer is super over as a king-sized version of Buzz. Lots of dog pound barking by the fans. “When the dog is off the leash, he bites. When the dog is in the ring, he fights.” Phoenix is based out of Chattanooga and had a strong run with NAWA in Rome a few years back. Sawyer got off to a fast start. Phoenix snapped Sawyer’s throat off the ropes to take over. Phoenix hit rolling neck snap and made a nonchalant cover for two. The crowd started woofing. Sawyer caused Phoenix to miss on a top rope elbow. Sawyer hit a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Phoenix tried a sunset flip and Sawyer sat down to get the 1-2-3. It was the right length. Sawyer is too heavy to work much longer without completely gassing out.

(3) Bambi pinned the NWA Wrestle Birmingham Junior Champion, Dafffney in a non-title match (11:20). One of the high points of the evening. Bambi does all the little things that the WWE Divas don’t have clue one about. Daffney was very good as well. Bambi likes to work stiff, and Daffney was up to the task. Daffney was pure heel for the first time in WB, since she’s been wrestling men and always has a good percentage of the crowd behind her. Bambi used a snap mare and Daffney bailed out selling a sore butt. Bambi worked the body part with an elevated bodyscissors butt drop straight out of the 70s. Bambi then did a rolling bodyscissors to score a near fall. Daffney went to the outside again, and managed to derail Bambi by snapping her neck off the top rope. Daffney applied a camel clutch. Daffney choked Bambi with her boot and raked her along the top rope. They traded chops, and Bambi’s were wicked stiff to the point Daffney’s chest was blistered and bright red. Daffney used a full nelson and took it to the mat. Bambi fought up from the bottom. Daffney did some awesome facial expressions and blood curdling screams here. Bambi’s comeback built to a flying face plant for a near fall. While Powell came down and distracted referee Roy George, El Mexicano jumped Bambi. But Bambi ducked and Mexicano’s forearm found Daffney chin. Bambi rolled Daffney up for the three count. Daffney was hot at Powell for the screw up.

Intermission with LeVeigh, Daffney, Bambi, Armstrong, Jackson, Buchanan, and Sawyer for sure out at the gimmick tables and probably some others.

(4) Bill Franklin beat River D’Angelo in 4:56. This started as a special challenge match between Franklin and joke opponent, Mad Jack with WB television host Larry Lloyd in his corner. Ring announcer Cowboy called it Mad Jack’s funeral. Exactly why Jack issued the challenge, I’m still not sure. After a minute of shenanigans, Franklin picked Jack up by the neck and Lloyd threw in the towel. While Jack was being carried out, D’Angelo jumped Franklin to gain a short-lived advantage. Franklin came back with a jackhammer. D’Angelo resorted to a low blow and brought a table in. D’Angelo did a top rope splash through the table with an assist from Franklin. The finish was memorable and that’s all that really mattered.

(5) The Bloodline (Michael Rayne & Billy Blade) beat Dog River Boys (“Crybaby” Will Owens & Ricky Roberts with Marcel Pringle) in 13:59 Bloodline would have fit right in at the metal arts convention at Sloss Furnace. As a general rule, gothic freaks aren’t babyface material in the state of Alabama, but with heat-machine Owens, there were no worries. Owens stomped around the ring bellowing “You want some a me? You want some a me?” before tagging out to a surprised Roberts. Bloodline dominated with combo moves early. But while Pringle was occupying the attention of Rayne, Owens knocked him over the top rope with a rabbit lariat. The Boys got heat on Rayne. Roberts used the Walls of Jericho. With both men down, Rayne inches from a tag, and the crowd going nuts, Owens jumped in to drag Rayne back to the heel’s corner. Moments later, Rayne made the hot tag. Dog River Boys fed Blade. A springboard legdrop brought Pringle up on the apron. Owens clubbed Blade. Pringle held Blade for the DRB, but Blade got away and Pringle took the bump. Bloodline pinned Roberts and Owens with stereo roll ups. The crowd popped huge, as they did for every clean finish on the show. Sure enough, Owens shed a bucket of tears in the postmatch.

(6) Mike Jackson vs. Ultimate Dragon vs. El Mexicano ended as a no contest (19:18). The heat didn’t hold up as well for this match. The style was similar to the opener and that match had smoother execution. Dragon did mic work insulting the good people of Graysville. The crowd popped some for Mexicano. He may be heel, but he was the only young guy with a major league physique. Mexicano cut a promo in Spanish. That got heat and created the perfect moment for Jackson to enter. Hot start with Mexicano and Dragon doubling up on Jackson, and Jackson mounting a major 1 on 2 comeback. Mexicano took a spectacular backdrop over the top onto Dragon. Mexicano has impressive athletic ability, although his inexperience shows through at times. The body of the match was the typical three-way stuff: two guys working spots and the third guy selling and breaking up any pin attempts. It went on a long time and that’s where the heat faded. Jackson did a plancha. It was safe, but the guy is closer to 60 than 50. Jackson got a pop with a satellite hiptoss. Jackson did a ridiculous double knuckle lock ropes walk and jumped off the top causing the heels to collide. They did a three-way superplex/electric chair spot that was scarily out of synch. Mexicano’s body got twisted in a sicker manner, but he was OK, at least for the time being. The heels got back to double teaming Jackson. They flew from opposite corners and Jackson got both boots up. Jackson pulled the straps down. Mexicano cut off the rally with a wheelbarrow face plant. Mexicano ran up the ropes and hit a plancha. There was nothing obviously wrong with the spot, but Mexicano suffered a debilitating ankle injury on the landing, and they were forced to go to the finish. Jackson caught Dragon with a neckbreaker and was attacked by Owens and Powell. Jackson cleared the ring, but the ref called for the bell and ruled it a no contest. The crowd got hot about Jackson getting robbed. Jackson promised to take the WB Junior Title from Daffney at Zamora Shrine Temple on 7/6. Mexicano was carried out and transported to the hospital with a possible broken ankle.

Intermission featuring in-ring Polaroids with Mike Jackson.

(7) Dennis Condrey (with Jimmy Powell) beat Brad Armstrong to win the NWA Wrestle Birmingham Television Champion (11:26). The title was up for grabs after they wrestled to a no contest on the last Zamora Temple show. Lots of stalling by Condrey, which just served to get the crowd more fired up. They did the same deal as they did at Zamora, where Condrey convinces Roy George that Armstrong is pulling hair. Condrey tries to use hair, only to end up flat on his back after a hair pull by George. They criss-crossed running the ropes and Armstrong jumped out and chased Powell. That gave Powell palpitations. Condrey did a dropdown and Powell tripped up Armstong, simple but beautifully timed by all three. Powell did a lot of the dirty work, but acted like Mr. Innocent anytime George was looking. Armstrong came back with big right hands that had Condrey on rubbery legs. Condrey finally went down, which brought Powell up onto the apron. Armstong cut Powell off, but his ever-present loaded briefcase made its way into the ring. Condrey konked Armstrong with it for the 1-2-3. Powell was literally jumping for joy after the match.

(8) McNasty vs. Bull Buchanan for the NWA Wrestle Birmingham Heavyweight Title ended in a no contest at 9:07. This match way exceeded my expectations. They saved the crazed, edgy stuff for the main event, so it came across as something special. I’ve never thought of McNasty as an entertaining talker, but he was on this night. The good-natured way he got into it with the ringsiders had the people laughing bigtime. He cautioned the crusty rascal that had been tormenting the heels all night about popping a blood vessel. I think it was that same guy from the TNA show at Zamora. They did a brute force standoff, which left no mistake that these were two big, powerful dudes. McNasty bailed out after taking a monster backdrop. McNasty raked the eyes and used taped fists to the gut. But there was nobody home for his corner splash, and McNasty went tumbling over the top. They battled on the outside. Somebody got tossed into a metal gate. McNasty grabbed a walking stick from a guy on the first row and used it on Buchanan. Back inside the ring, McNasty choked Buchanan with his wrist tape. Buchanan started landing to where the ropes were the only thing holding McNasty up. Buchanan made the full-fledged comeback, and the action once again spilled to the outside. They battled up the stairs into the upper level, which is nothing more than a fenced catwalk. Buchanan ground McNasty’s face into the fence. They each teased throwing the other guy over the fence, a potentially life ending drop onto the concrete below. George saw no other option than to call for the bell.

But that didn’t stop the violence. A host of wrestler ran up the stair to break it up. A massive pull apart ensued. George got popped by Buchanan. They battled their way back into the ring before the other wrestlers could get them separated. The fans chanted “let them fight.” McNasty said anytime, anywhere and left. Buchanan said let’s go right now. They went at it again and got another chant of “Let them fight.” McNasty said the fans would have to pay for another ticket if they wanted to see more. Buchanan promised bloodshed and busted eyeballs for the rematch. Television announcer Michael St. John said promoter Linda Marx had made a match involving chains and bullropes for the next show in Graysville.

NOTES: Adrian Street cancelled due to the horrible driving condition between his home in Florida and the Birmingham area…Wrestle Birmingham airs Saturdays at 11:30 pm on WTTO 21 and Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9:30 pm on Charter Mainstreet 18 and 24…Stay tuned to the WB website for the announcement of the return date for Graysville…The 7/6 show at Zamora Temple has every indication of being WB’s biggest event of the year. PWX / AWC Results From The Jacob Woll Pavillion In Renzi Park, McKeesport, PA:

Atlas Wrestling Company Results (April 7, 2007):

1. James Ross and the returning Guido Corleone defeated Apollyon & The Masked Avenger by disqualification.

The cocky rookie James Ross came to the ring with Curtis Stevenson and the two men plaed the bullies as they taunted Apollyon with his mask that they stole 3 weeks ago. The youngster Apollyon was ready to take on Ross and gain his mask back, but Stevenson then informed Apollyon that this was now going to be a tag-team match. Stevenson then brought out the returning Guido Corleone as the newest man in AWC and Paul Atlas' newest ally.

The odds were stacked severely against Apollyon, but he did not back down and even shocked Ross by coming on the offensive early. The power and experience of Guido ended that though as he tossed the much smaller Apollyon around the ring. Ross then did his usual cocky moves after Apollyon was down.

As Ross was delivering a clothesline to Apollyon, music hit and out came The Masked Avenger who then got up on the ring apron and wanted Apollyon to make the tag to him. Stevenson was heard yelling and screaming that the masked man was Scottie Gash and that he was a PWX wrestler and shouldnt be allowed in AWC, even under the mask.

This didnt matter as Apollyon made the tag to the Avenger and he went nuts hitting Guido and Ross with a series of big moves. Apollyon recovered enough to go after Guido outside the ring and as those two men battled out side, the Avenger was able to reverse a Ross attempt for his finisher into the exact same finisher that Scottie Gash uses which resulted in the 1,2,3 for the win..... or so everyone thought.

Curtis Stevenson then informed the referee that he was using his executive authority in this match and thus declared that Apollyon was disqualified for The Masked Avenger's outside interference and the winners by DQ were Ross and Guido!

2. 'Syko' Sean Dahmer defeated 'Sugar' Steve Flash by pinfall.

Steve Flash was out to the ring first and as he awaited his opponent, the music hit and out came PWX's Sean Dahmer who did his usual grunting, screaming, and barking to the crowd. Dahmer was stopped by the ring announcer who informed him that he was a PWX wrestler on an AWC show. Dahmer didnt seem to get it, so it was explained again to him that he wasnt supposed to be out there yet as he was on the wrong side of the card right now. Dahmer still didnt get it. Flash, sensing that this could be a very easy win, said that he had no problem wrestling Dahmer, so the match was on.

Flash displayed a very arrogant side of him and he resorted to numerous cheating tactics, but in the end it just was not enough to keep Dahmer down. Dahmer was able to keep fighting back and coming at Flash. Dahmer was especially intense and hard hitting in this bout.

Finally, Flash, in a move of desperation, went outside the ring and grabbed a chair, but as he went to hit Dahmer with the chair, senior official Shawn Patrick stopped him. Dahmer was then able to spin Flash around and hit his Snowplow finisher for the winning pinfall.

The crowd barked their approval for Dahmer as he did his "normal" victory laps around the ring after the win.

3. Kid Cupid was out next to talk on the microphone. Cupid talked about how he was tired of always being picked on by Paul Atlas and his buddies because he was little slower than most people. Cupid went on to say that he knows he cant wrestle a 5-star, 2-star, or even a 1-star match but he can entertain and even though there has been alot of people that have made fun of him over the years, alot of them are long gone while he is still here entertaining the fans.

Cupid then said that he was approached by a former champion that has offered to watch his back so that he will not be picked on anymore. Cupid said that this man was now under a mask and that he knew who it and that some other's may know as well. Cupid then brought out this masked former champion, who many fans seem to have recognized as they cheered wildly for him, and as Cupid was still talking, manager Benjamin C. Steele came into the ring. Steele began to poke his finger in Cupid's chest berating him, but the masked man stepped in and as Steele looked closely at him, he ran out of the ring screaming "I know who it is and I am out of here!"

4. Dash Bennett defeated Paul Atlas by pinfall.

Dash Bennett has been a thorn in Paul Atlas' side since Atlas drafted him. Bennett was refused the right to defend his Brass Knuckles Title in AWC since it was a PWX sanctioned title and since then it has been a nightmare trying to contain Bennett.

This match-up had originally been set as a tag-team match but it was reported at the beginning of the show that Brandon K and Bigg had an altercation outside the building and both men were taken to McKeesport UPMC Hospital for evaluation, thus making this a singles match now.

Atlas controlled this match for the most part wearing down Dash by trying to dissect him one body part at a time. Atlas, a 17-year veteran, is master of technical wrestling and of how to take out a body part. This match was no exception as Atlas performed his usual in-ring surgery on Dash.

Despite all of this, Dash was able to make a few comebacks on Atlas coming out with a flurry of high impacts moves each time. However, Atlas was able to stop the comeback each time by using cheating tactics to regain the advantage.

In the end, Atlas appeared to be ready to put Dash away, but, out of nowhere, Dash came to life and despite Atlas' every effort to stop Dash, it was not enough as Dash was able to pull out the 1,2,3 pinfall victory over the stunned Paul Atlas.

After the match, Atlas promised to be the end of Dash once and for all.

5. AWC Heavyweight Champion Crusher Hansen defeated Scott Venom by pinfall in a "Lumberjack Match"

After serving a 30-day suspension for simply signing a contract for a title rematch, Scott Venom was mad and ready for his chance to regain his title that he was cheated out of by Crusher Hansen and Benjamin C. Steele.

Earlier in the night, Crusher and Steele gave Venom a sarcastic welcome back party that ended in Venom slamming Steele's face in a cake and Crusher getting hit with a superkick and laid out.

Now it was match time as Venom started out in a rage on Crusher venting out over 30 days of aggression towards the current champion. Crusher tried to walk away to get a breather a couple times, but was thrown back in immediately by the lumberjacks. Venom continued his onslaught each time and nearly ended this match within the first few minutes.

Crusher, however, was able to gain the momentum on Venom and with the help of a few lumberjacks was able to maintain that advantage for the next several minutes with Venom making a couple shortlived comebacks, but was quickly cutoff.

Finally after taking a pounding for quite some time, Venom was able to dig down deep and mount one last offensive with stunning success. Venom had Crusher reeling badly when the lumberjacks began to fight on the outside of the ring. This allowed lumberjack James Ross to give the much needed aid to Crusher and thus cheat on Venom to score the win and retain his title.

Venom has not been beaten by Crusher by fair means yet, but he still does not hold that title victory against him. This is certainly not the last we have heard from Scott Venom in this situation....

Pro Wrestling eXpress Results (April 7, 2007):

1. Chris Taylor & Scottie Gash defeated Chris LeRusso & Krystal Frost by pinfall after Taylor pinned Frost.

The PWX side of things started off with Krystal Frost making her way out with Chris Taylor's Heavyweight Title belt and Chris Lerusso with her. Krystal called Taylor out to the ring and told him that BANE was unable to make it the event tonight because of the snowstorm that hit the Cleveland area so this now will be a one on one match and Scottie Gash was not needed or wanted around tonight.

Scottie Gash then made his way to the ring and said that it was Krystal responsibility to have her men present since she is their manager. Gash went on to say that since she is to blame here, she should take BANE's spot in the tag-team match. Taylor liked this idea as well, but LeRusso would not agree to this until Taylor offered to give Gash and LeRusso a title shot later on the same card in a 'Triple Threat Match'. Taylor said all LeRusso had to do was agree to the tag match right there, right then. LeRusso agreed after a short debate with Krystal and the match was on!!

LeRusso started strong early, but the combo of both Gash and Taylor against him was too much and the control reverted to Gash and Taylor until LeRusso was superkicked by Gash which, in-turn, sent LeRusso flying into his corner and making an inadvertent tag to Krystal. Gash quickly threw Krystal into the ring, but she made a surprise move by hitting a tornado DDT on Gash. The move stunned Gash but he recovered shortly thereafter thus beginning the end for Krystal in this match.

Gash hit a move on Krystal and when he went to hit his finisher on her, Taylor came intot he ring and begged Gash to allow him to hit his finisher on her to exact his revenge. Gash threw Krystal up in the air as Taylor hit his finisher on her and scored the 1,2,3 for the win.

After the match, Gash handed Taylor his title belt back to him, but held onto it for a second as he and Taylor stared at the prized possession.

2. The Mantis pinned the debuting Sharecropper with help from Devil Bhudakahn.

This match was very fast paced with plenty of daredevil moves executed by both men. The debuting Sharecropper was very impressive as he easily won the crowd over early on. This man is a unique individual whose mask resembles an ear of corn as he yells 'husk!!' out to the crowd repeatedly. Sharecropper's offense consisted mostly of highflying moves mixed with devastating suplexes and stiff hitting from both his fists and feet.

To Mantis' credit, he was able to match Sharecropper move for move while unleashing an assortment of high risk moves himself. The end came for Sharecropper when, after having Mantis clearly down and out, PWX Three Rivers Champion Devil Bhudakahn made his way out to ringside and just stood there staring at Sharecropper. Sharecropper began jawing with Devil which allowed Mantis the time to recover enough to get the pinfall win on Sharecropper with a schoolboy rollup while holding the tights.

3. ELITE defeated Amir Al Jahari by pinfall after hitting a top rope chokeslam on Jahari.

ELITE continued his impressive run in PWX with a big win over another one of PWX's young studs in Amir Al Jahari. The match featured ELITE on the advantage early as he displayed his array of power moves on Jahari with great effectiveness. ELITE made a crucial mistake, however, when he went for a big splash in the corner where Jahari was, but missed. This allowed Jahari the opening to chopblock ELITE in his left knee taking the 6'7 monster to the ground.

Jahari's gameplan to keep ELITE on the ground was a very smart one that now had begun to work to perfection. Jahari worked over ELITE's leg for next few minutes keeping the big man on his back while delivering more and more punishment on the big man.

Sensing the end was at hand, Jahari nailed a picture perfect german suplex on ELITE. However, when Jahari went for the pinfall cover, ELITE was able to kick out with alot of force sending Jahari flying off of him. Jahari went for two more pinfall covers immediately, each time ending in the same result. Frustrated, Jahari went to the top rope to hit a high risk move, but was caught by ELITE who was able to crotch Jahari on the top turnbuckle and deliver his top-rope chokeslam for the 1,2,3.

4. PWX Three Rivers Champion Devil Bhudakahn pinned The Blue Dragon to retain his title.

In a championship contest that has been 3 months in the making, champion Devil Bhudakahn was able to finally get the better on the red hot Blue Dragon and retain his title.

Dragon had been riding a 9-month-long undefeated streak with two pinfalls on Devil himself during that span. Now, with the PWX Three Rivers Title on the line, Dragon was only one more win away from capturing his first title in PWX. Devil, however, had been embarrassed on two occasions by Dragon and was out for revenge.

The time for the title match had finally arrived and the two men wasted no time in mixing it up. Back and forth action took place with Dragon and Devil on the offensive at differing points. Dragon was able to gain a couple of very close pinfalls attempts while Devil was able to counter each time by questionable means.

In the end, Dragon ducked out of the way of a Devil move, but the referee wasnt so lucky as he was hit and went down like a ton of bricks. Devil then turned right into Dragon's belly-to-belly suplex finisher and as Dragon had devil covered for over a ten count, the referee was still nowhere to be found. Several fans even counted the three count by pounding the mat. Dragon then got up and went to revive the referee. When Dragon turned back around, he was met with the Three Rivers Title belt to the head courtesy of Devil. Devil went for the cover and the now revived referee counted to 2 3/4 before Dragon was able to kick out somehow. The fans erupted at this and Devil, sensing the same thing was about to happen to him for a third time against Dragon, picked up Dragon and went for his dragon-suplex finisher. Dragon was able to counter and after a brief exchange of reversals, Dragon was in the position to get the same quick roll-up for the win as he had done on two previous occasions. However, this time Devil was ready and was able to hang onto the ropes for leverage while getting the pinfall win.

Blue Dragon's 9-month-long undefeated streak had come to an end and an early request for a rematch was quickly denied by Devil. A ton of credit needs to be given to Blue Dragon for going on what has to be the hottest win streak in PWX history. Dragon did fall just short and Devil is ecstatic about being the man to end the win streak, but it is only a short matter of time before Dragon is on top again and perhaps with some gold around his waist.

5. PWX Heavyweight Champion Chris Taylor defeated Scottie Gash & Chris LeRusso in a 'Triple Threat Match' to retain the title.

All three men had already been through a match involving one another earlier in the evening, which meant that all three men knew each other's tendencies. It showed in this match as many counters, reversals, and last second pin breakups took place.

LeRusso was doubleteamed in the beginning by Gash and Taylor, but it wasnt long before Taylor and Gash were trading blows as the top prize in the company was on the line. LeRusso used this time to recover and then open up with his offense on both men.

LeRusso used every dirty trick he knew to try and get the win for the title, but Gash and Taylor kept breaking up his pinfall attempts at the last second each time.

Gash was able to score a couple of near pinfalls on both Taylor and LeRusso as he had the hothand for a few minutes in the middle of the match, but he ended up with the same result as LeRusso as his covers were broken up.

In the end, it was Taylor who got hot at the right time as he went on the offensive with an array of effective moves. All three men exchanged finishers, but Taylor was the man who prevailed on LeRusso after Gash hit his finisher but was distracted by Krystal which allowed the cover for Taylor.

After the match, LeRusso and Gash battled out of the arena while AWC Heavyweight Champion Crusher Hansen attacked PWX Heavyweight Champion from behind. AWC owner made his way out and called out PWX owner Jim Miller. Atlas and Miller agreed that on Saturday May 5th at Burgh Brawl it would be the brawl to settle it all meaning that whichever promotion's man that won Burgh Brawl, it would be that promotion that survives while the other is done and gone for good.

Taylor and Hansen then set the bar even higher as they both agreed to put their heavyweight titles on the line in two weeks at the Saturday, April 21st event. So it will be PWX Heavyweight Champion Chris Taylor against AWC Heavyweight Champion Crusher Hansen: title versus title.....

***********************************************************

Plus it has been announced that on Saturday, April 21st it will be the 'Battle Between The Best In The Burgh' as Brandon K will meet none other than Sterling James Keenan!!!

Also, it has been announced that the PWX main event will be an interpromotion match between AWC owner Paul Atlas and PWX's Scottie Gash. On the line in this one will be the last draw in Burgh Brawl and the ability to even NAME the man who is in that crucial final spot.

************************************************************

***Next PWX / AWC event is Saturday, April 21, 2007 with a belltime of 8pm***

NWA Black & Blue 4/14 Results
Johnny Arson pinned Jack "The Ripper" Hydraulic in a fast paced bout
that set the tone for the rest of the night.

Don Montoya defeated Raw Superstar Nick Berk via DQ after Sure Shot
Shawn Reyolds and Allister Crowley, Esq attacked Montoya. Coming out
to even the odds were Damian Dragon, Travis Blake and Johnny Arson

The debuting Society of Ventrue defeated The Kings of the 80's Chris
Carter and Mike Notar in a wild match.

New comers Chris Steeler and Franciz both had a very impressive debut.
Chris Steeler overcame Franciz with a Super Kick.

Sure Shot Shawn Reynolds made short work of the Levittown Kid and then
challenged Travis Blake to a match right there on the spot. Blake
accepted and beat Reynolds with a small package. When the referee was
distracted, Reynold's lawyer Allister Crowley rolled it over so
Reynolds got the pin, but Don Montoya was there to roll it back for
Travis Blake to get the win.

Chris Robbins defeated Justin Corino via roll up after Robbins' valet
was knocked from the apron and Corino not Robbins checked to see if
she was ok.

Sneaky Silver Bullet 1 used a backslide to pin Dave Greco in a crazy
match where it's quite possible that Silver Bullet 1 and his partner
Silver Bullet 2 pulled the switcheroo a few times. Nothing can be
confirmed however until the video is reviewed.

There was a no contest between Damian Dragon and Allister Crowley, Esq
after a run in by Sure Shot, Nick Berk, and Mr. Truitt. Once again
Travis Blake, Don Montoya and Johnny Arson were there to get Dragon's
back.

Reckless Youth Tom Carter managed to pull off a win against Doink the
Clown in a fan favorite match full of hijinx that left no one in the
crowd sitting down.

The National Wrestling Alliance Black & Blue would like to thank the
200+ people that came to show their support for our first show!

We'll be back May 12 at the Salvation Army 215 Appletree Drive,
Levittown PA 19055 with a Tag Team Tournament to crown the first ever
NWA Black and Blue Television Tag Team Champions!

NWA Main Event Presents: Mule Day Spectacular!

Freddie's Auction House & Sportatorium

Main Event
NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Title Match
Johnny Swinger w/Paul Adams (Manager) def "Outlaw" Lee
Condry to become the new NWA Mid-America Heavyweight
Champion. The match went back and forth with Paul
Adams getting involved too many times to count.
Swinger went to the apron and Lee Condry tried to
suplex him back in the ring. Without the ref seeing,
Adams pulled Lee’s legs out from under him and helped
Swinger hold him down for the 3 count.
--------------------------------------------------
NWA Mid-America Tag Team Title Match
Special Guest Referee Psycho Medic
(Painkillers) Johnny DeMento & Slade (Challengers) def

The Syndicate Crew (L.A. Player, DeAngelo, & Karnage)
w/Y.T. via DQ. “Ref” Psycho Medic helped the Crew out
many times with slow counts and not calling it right
down the middle. Referee Adam R finally saw enough
and hit the ring to confront Medic. DeAngelo rolled
up Slade for a quick 1-2-3. Referee Adam R reversed
the decision and DQed the Crew. The Crew did not win
the match, but they retained the Mid-America Tag
Titles.
--------------------------------------------------
Jamie Dundee def "Mr. Impact" J. T. Quest w/Xstacy via
DQ. Xstacy entered the ring with the crowbar and the
referee had seen enough and ended the match.
--------------------------------------------------
Manga w/ Ms.Opium def Milton Biggs with some very
dirty tactics.
--------------------------------------------------
L.A. Player def "Prototype" Bobby Surge with a fall
away slam.
--------------------------------------------------
Cody Whitehead & "Iceman" Chris Eckos def Antiono &
Brandon Stone with the help of Mr.Impact’s crowbar.

NWA Main Event Presents: Mule Day Spectacular!
Saturday, April 14,2007 RESULTS
Freddie's Auction House & Sportatorium
A HUGE Show was witnessed by a nearly sold out crowd
at Freddie’s Auction House. The Mule Day Spectacular
was OFF the CHART!

Main Event
NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Title Match
Special Referee Mr. Mike Porter
"Outlaw" Lee Condry w/ Pam Condry def Johnny Swinger
w/Paul Adams (Manager) to become the new NWA
Mid-America Heavyweight Champion. Mr. Porter, after
seeing enough made himself the guest referee. The
match went back and forth with Paul Adams not being
able to interfere as much because ref JD was assigned
to watch him. Lee Condry mounted a huge comeback and
got the 1-2-3 to get his championship gold back!
--------------------------------------------------
NWA Mid-America X Division Title Match
Hardcore Rules
Cody Whitehead w/Avenger def Brandon Stone to become
the new NWA Mid-America X Division Champion. Stone
started out with a huge attack but was soon overcome
by Cody with Avenger’s help. This match saw trashcans,
box cutters, chairs, and much more used. Stone, who
was busted wide open mounted a come back, and even put
Avenger out with a turnbuckle to turnbuckle dropkick.
JT Quest hit the ring and gave Stone a spin buster
into two chairs. The broken in half Stone was then
pinned by Cody Whitehead. As Quest, Xstacy, Avenger,
and Whitehead celebrated, Brandon Stone was taken out
of Freddie’s on a stretcher.
--------------------------------------------------
NWA Mid-America Tag Team Title Match
(Painkillers) Johnny DeMento & Slade def The Syndicate
Crew (L.A. Player, DeAngelo, Psycho Medic, Karnage &
SuperFly P ) w/Y.T. via DQ. This match went back &
forth like so many other meetings between these 2
teams. All members of the Crew got in on the beat
down, even SuperFly P!!! The Painkiller turned the
tables and were soon looking for the pin. Demento was
going for a 5 Star finish off of the top rope when he
was hit with the Crew Brief Case. When the ref saw the
brief case hit the canvas he called for the bell
realizing what happened. The Crew was DQed.

What happened next will change the NWA wrestling world
forever! Mike Porter, tired of the Crew’s underhanded
tactics stripped the Crew of their Tag Belts. This
brought on some words between Psycho Medic and Mr.
Porter.

****Then in the blink of an eye, Psycho Medic went to
hit Mike Porter, but hit L.A. Player instead. Player
fired back, and Karnage & YT jumped on
DeAngelo!!!!****

A huge brawl broke out and both locker rooms cleared
to try and break these former teammates up. All hell
broke loose and the ripples of the Syndicate Crew’s
implosion could be felt all over Middle Tennessee!!!
--------------------------------------------------
Randy Whitehead def "Mr. Impact" J. T. Quest w/Xstacy
in a last man standing match. Cody Whitehead poured
some clear liquid on the turnbuckle hoping Quest would
use it on Randy W. Randy reversed the move and put JT
Quest’s face into the chemicals dropping him
unconscious for the 10 count. After the bell Cody W,
Avenger, and Quest all took to beating Randy down
until Jamie Dundee cleared the ring with a chair.
--------------------------------------------------
Antonio def The Ice Man Chris Eckos in a fan
participation lumberjack strap match. Both men
received some whipping when they were thrown out of
the ring. Antonio took over with a 619 and finished
Eckos off with a huge Side Effect.
--------------------------------------------------
ATL Wrestling featuring Rastakan & JT Harley defeating
Spade & Robbie C.
--------------------------------------------------
Yukon Jack & Doug Harrison def Bobby Lowe and the KID.
This match went back and forth with Harrison keeping
the upper hand using picture perfect headlock
takeovers. KID & Lowe mounted a comeback, but it was
squashed when Yukon Jack delivered a black hole slam
to KID for the pin. After the bout Harrison’s snake
was out and put all over KID. Then Yukon showed off
some more of his dance moves, even getting the ref
involved.
--------------------------------------------------
Mikey Dunn & "Prototype" Bobby Surge def Nightmare &
Avenger in a tough tag team bout.
--------------------------------------------------
Jamie Dundee def Manga w/ Ms.Opium when he bumped both
Opium and Manga’s heads together & rolled up Manga for
the pin.

SANTO FIGHTS NEW ENEMIES!
We at NWA Pro Wrestling tip our caps to the legendary
Mexican Luchador El Hijo del Santo as he has announced
his intention to fight the coastal contamination of
the beaches and waters from Baja California up to San
Diego. It takes a brave man to stand up for that which
he believes in, but, like his father before him, the
eyes of all Mexico follow the movements of Santo. He
knows that if there is anyone who can unite the people
to help with this monumental problem, it is the
legendary Santo. This fight has already been covered
by MSNBC and more information, including video
footage, can be found at wildcoast.net.

ALSO…
- EWF returns to the Covina Knights of Columbus Hall
on Friday the 13th with an action packed event. Karl
"Machine Gun" Anderson takes on Human Tornado for
Tornado's EWF America's Championship. EWF
Cruiserweight Champion Ryan Taylor defends against
Australia's Damian Slater. EWF's Tag Team Champions
Joey Harder & Hook Bomberry battle each other in a
submission match for Harder's EWF Championship.
- HRW's April event saw a main event of The Young
Bucks taking on Karl "Machine Gun" Anderson and Joey
Ryan. Despite a broken leg, "Sexy" Sonny Samson
interfered in the match to help Ryan and Anderson gain
the victory. Will Samson's leg be healed in time for
the next HRW event on May 5? The Bucks certainly hope
so, as they can't wait to get their hands on Samson
and his "BFF" Stevie Andrews.
- NWA Pro East begins a series of events this weekend
with action in Levittown, PA featuring "Reckless
Youth" Tom Carter, "Dirty" Don Montoya, Nick Berk,
Damian Dragon and more.
- AWS returns on April 20 with their first Friday
night event at the new outdoor venue. The last AWS
event saw the 3-Ring 60-Man World War 3 Battle Royal
fittingly come down to the 2 wrestlers that had been
with AWS from the beginning, Al Katrazz and Lil'
Cholo. Cholo's win did not sit well with the big man
from the big house who challenged Cholo to a Parking
Lot Brawl on the 20th! This, plus The Young Bucks
defend the tag titles against former champs Midnight
Dynamite, Scorpio Sky takes on Apollo Khan, Topgun
Talwar tangles with Sexy Chino and more!
- EPW-Perth has begun preparations for it's 2 Night
"Evolution" event this May 4th and 5th. Already
announced is the main event of the weekend as the

04/13/07 - NWA Pro Adds Two New Names to the
Tournament

Source : NWAPro.net
With the 8 man tournament to determine the very first
NWA recognised Australian championship to be held in
November, NWA Pro officials have secured two more
names for the tournament.

We already know that Fergal Devitt and Mikey Nicholls
have been entered into the tournament but you can now
add two more names to that list.

Australian wrestling stalwart, Hartley Jackson has
been offered the third spot in the tournament. Jackson
is one of the most established professional wrestlers
that this country has ever produced. After dominating
the Australian wrestling scene for many years, he has
recently travelled to both the United States and Japan
to continue to further cement his name as the best
wrestler in this country. With his mix of local know
how and international experience he will be tough to
beat in the tournament.

Also joining him will be current Explosive Pro
Wrestling champion, Jimmy Payne. Payne is a 5 year
veteran who has done it all in the NWA Pro affiliate,
EPW. Jimmy has held the EPW championship on two
occasions and is considered to be one of the finest
homegrown talents in Western Australia. Despite rarely
venturing outside of WA’s borders, Payne is well known
as one of the most physical men in Australian
wrestling and anyone who draws him in the tournament
will be in for a hell of a fight.

So now we have four names for the most prestigious
tournament to be held on Australian soil. With
November fast approaching, NWA Pro will be keen to
secure more talent in the coming months. Stay tuned
for further details.
