The Condemned Box Office Numbers Not Impressive

-- Steve Austin's movie debut The Condemned didn't do so hot this opening weekend as the movie, WWE Films' third attempt, ranked at number 9 with a weekend gross of $4,000,000.
The initial reviews seemed positive so WWE decided to have the movie screened to critics who universally panned the movie with negative reviews. Looks as if the general public (even wrestling fans who you'd think support any product WWE puts out) weren't into the movie as well.
I'll admit that I had a free pass to see this movie last Tuesday and decided not to attend the screening, personally I'm not into action movies as much as I used to be plus I don't usually see movies with wrestlers (i.e. The Rock).
