TALENT LIST ANNOUNCED FOR JUNE TAPINGS!

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Friday & Saturday, June 1st & 2nd, for two consecutive nights at the Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time on Friday night is 7:30pm (Doors 7pm), and on Saturday night is 4pm (Doors 3pm).

Featured during the course of the weekend will be the 2 night, 16 woman, single elimination tournament to crown the SHIMMER Champion! The tournament will begin on Friday night, and conclude during the first half of Saturday's taping. After intermission on Saturday, we will then film another DVD release in the SHIMMER series!

Sixteen wrestlers will appear as part of the tournament itself, with additional talent involved in non-tournament action on just the Saturday show. One of the sixteen tournament slots will be filled by a wildcard entrant.

Front row 2 night ticket packages are SOLD OUT. General admission 2 night ticket packages are still available at $30 each ($15 per night). SHIMMER AT ROH WEEKEND REPORT

Ring of Honor presented two live events over this past weekend, on Friday, 4/27 at the National Guard Armory in St. Paul, MN, and Saturday, 4/28 at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, IL.

On Friday in St. Paul, "The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew" of Lacey & Rain defeated "The Dangerous Angels" of Sara Del Rey & Allison Danger when Lacey pinned Danger following the Implant DDT. This ended the undefeated tag team streak for The Dangerous Angels in ROH.

On Saturday in Chicago Ridge, Lacey defeated Laura Mattano with the Implant DDT in the pre-show main event. SHIMMER fans know Laura as one of the SHIMMER referees, but she has a history as a wrestler as well, and has been working her way back into active competition as a wrestler in recent months.

The Chicago event saw the departures of several members of the ROH roster, including Colt Cabana, Christopher Daniels, and Shingo. With Daniels' departure from ROH, Allison Danger also finished up on Saturday night, as she is now off the active ROH roster.
