MMA Champ Tito Ortiz Guest Stars In February 16th Episode Of Hit CBS TV Crime Drama ëNUMB3RSí (10-11pm ET/PT)

( EMAILWIRE.COM, February 07, 2007 ) LOS ANGELES ñ MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) champ and ìHuntington Beach Bad Boyî Tito Ortiz plays the role of Tino Alva in an upcoming episode of ìNUMB3RS,î the popular CBS TV series on Friday, February 16th at 10-11PM ET/PT.

Ortiz plays the defending champion in the All-Out Fighting League who is anxious to find out who his opponent will be in the upcoming big match. Someone, however, seems to be knocking off the competition to improve his own ranking in the league.

ìIt was great fun to play this role,î said Ortiz. ìIt seemed that almost everyone on the set knew about my exploits with the UFC and also knew a lot about MMA.î

Ortiz has a loyal fan base from his televised fights and from having appeared on Spike TVís ìThe Ultimate Fighterî series. Heís also had roles in several feature films including ìCradle 2 the Graveî and the controversial Turkish film ìValley of the Wolves: Iraq.î
