Results From ACW Revised! in New Port Richey, FL

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thank you.

On Tuesday May 8th American Combat Wrestling presented REVISED! The event was held at the Bourbon Street Night Club of 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey. Former WWE superstar Luna Vachon was in attendance.

(1) 2006 King of Florida winner David Mercury defeated Ray Beez.

Beez made his way out first and was forced to sit in a corner as Mercury talked to the fans the lack of respect he has been shown by them the last few events. Finally we got to action with Mercury using his amateur skills but to everyone’s surprise Beez was able to keep pace. Mercury switched to some chain wrestling but Beez also kept pace in those exchanges. Mercury had enough and dragged Beez to the floor where he slammed Beez into a bar and his attempted piledriver was countered into a backdrop. Both men continued their fight back to the ring where referee Billy Dalton was administering the ten count. Once back in the ring Mercury ducked a move and hit a clothesline before locking a straight jacket style STF. Beez fought to his feet but got sent back to the canvas by a double sledge to the chest. Mercury tried to keep the pace slow with a rear chinlock but Beez got to his feet again, but once again Mercury knocked him down this time with a leg lariat for two. Mercury got frustrated and made an error which resulted in a Beez clothesline sending both men to the mat. Beez blocked a punch and hit a spinebuster but was unable to capitalize. Beez was ready for a straight jacket neckbreaker but Mercury countered out into an exploder like move for the win.

(2) Twizted defeated Descending Angel.

After trading armbars and wristlocks, Twizted hit a dropkick to the chest but fell to the mat on a shoulder block. Both men missed moves and we were at square one until they traded two counts. Twizted went for a move but his package came right down on Angel’s shoe. Angel followed with a Northern Lights suplex and a snap suplex for two. Twizted hit a clothesline which sent Angle to the floor where Twizted followed, only he fell right into a boot. Twizted blocked a move and tossed Angel into the ring post and dragged him back into the ring where Angel hit a flying headscissor for two. Angel hit a Code Red but somehow Twizted kicked out. Twizted recovered and won by hitting a standing shooting star press.

(3) 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup competitor Nooie Lee defeated Dany Only, Naphtali and Austin Amadeus.

Amadeus and Lee began where they left off in pervious bouts with hard hitting cruiserweight moves before Naphtali tagged in to slow down Lee with a leverage move into a corner. As Lee and Naphtali wrestled David Mercury came out and talked to Amadeus which was good because Naphtali hit a 50 turn airplane spin which made both men tag out. Only went right on the attack driving Amadeus into a corner with shoulder blocks. After hitting a shoulderbreaker Only locked Amadeus in a move but Naphtali came in and locked Only in a sleeper but Lee came in and locked Naphtali in a half nelson. All the holds were broken and Amadeus scored a two count with a tackle. Naphtali tagged in to continue the punishment on Only as Mercury and Amadeus took off to the locker room. Naphtali went up top but landed on his feet and dropped the elbow onto Only. Only caught Naphtali mid-air and hit a slam for two. Only finally tagged out to Lee who came off the top landing on Naphtali’s legs. Lee hit two clotheslines and tagged in Only who helped deliver a flapjack for two. Only went for a corner move but Naphtali slid off the shoulder and hit a running boot to the face. Naphtali went for another airplane spin but Only countered into a neckbreaker and several right hand punches but his dropkick missed allowing Naphtali to hit the dreaded DVD on the 2004 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup DVD (now available online at www.RFVideo.com). Lee capitalized on this and dumped Naphtali to the floor and winning the match. After the match all hell broke loose as Only spewed green mist into Lee’s eyes and dumped Lee in the ring with several power moves. Shayne Swift tried to aid his friend but he too fell to the power of Dany Only.

Before the next match there was a small ceremony to present the current ACW champions (Cruiserweight Jaison Moore, Tag Team Sedrick Strong/Joshua Masters & Heavyweight Ralph Mosca) brand new title belts. They were presented the belts by three members of the ACW championship committee.

(4) ACW Cruiserweight champion Jaison Moore defeated Nick Fame.

Before the match fame refuted the fans chants of “He’s Gay” and other things I won’t mention if kids are reading. Once the match began it was Moore locking in moves and Fame running to the ropes trying to cause a break. Moore stopped that with a succession of clotheslines and backdrop which sent Fame to the floor. Moore joined him delivering chest chops and tossing Fame into the ring but he entered last and Fame dropped Moore’s crotch on the ropes. It did little to stop Moore but a kick to the chest took the wind out of Moore for a moment. So did a kick to the back from Fame that scored a two count. Fame placed Moore on the top buckle and tried for a superplex but it was blocked and Moore sent Fame into the ring hitting a Warrior’s Way drop on Fame’s back for two. Fame went for a move but Moore hit a belly to belly suplex into a corner. Moore hit two clotheslines and an exploder before going for and missing a Rolling Thunder to the corner. Fame went for a move but Moore countered into an STO with a Crossface submission to retain his title.

(5) ACW Tag Team champions “Canadian Dream” Joshua Masters and Sedrick Strong (w/Fetish) defeated the Power Company Twins.

With a month between shows Strong had tons to say to the fans who he felt were ungrateful to their greatness. The PCT felt they too were unappreciated by the fans of ACW and let it be known on the house mic. The PCT had Masters set in the ring for a top rope elbow drop but Fetish stopped that. The other PCT went to hit Masters with a bar stool but Strong stopped that. The PCT dumped Strong to the floor and thought they had Masters pinned but Fetish pulled the referee to the floor. Masters recovered and grabbed the barstool and hit a PCT in the back with it to get the fast victory.

(6) In a Texas Bullrope Match, Shan Hill defeated “Modern Revolution” Steve Madison (w/Big Bubba Madison).

The rules were simple: to win you needed to touch each turnbuckle in succession. Madison tried to slide out to the floor but Hill dragged him back in the ring where he stomped on the hand Madison didn’t have attached to the rope. BB Madison helped keep Madison from being dragged in a second time and it allowed Madison to get in a gut shot on Hill. Madison backed Hill to a corner where he tried to open up Hill’s forehead with punches. Hill fought back with punches but BB Madison tripped Hill on a rope toss and Billy Dalton ejected BB Madison from ringside. Madison wasn’t happy and he tossed Hill to the floor but Hill got to his feet and tossed Madison into several rows of chairs. The match came back to the ring where Hill got three turnbuckles but Madison dumped him over the ropes. The big problem was Madison’s boots got tangled in the rope and he briefly ended up hogtied. Hill saw this and went up top but he came down on Madison’s cowboy boot. Madison took the fight back to the floor where his piledriver was countered into a backdrop onto the concrete floor. Madison fought back by hitting Hill in the stomach with the cowbell. Back in the ring Madison hit a back suplex and unloaded several right hand punches to Hill’s forehead which opened up a gash. Madison thought he had a win but his move got reversed into a powerslam which allowed Hill to get a buckle. Madison snuck up behind Hill and chop blocked his left knee. Madison wrapped the rope around Hill’s legs and locked in a figure four but Hill reversed it. Madison escaped and dropped an elbow on the knee with the cowbell. Madison went up top to deliver more pain to the knee but Hill grabbed the rope and sent Madison crashing into the ring. Hill’s cobwebs cleared and he realized his head was split open so he smashed Madison in the forehead with the cowbell which split Madison wide open. Hill tapped three buckles but Madison cut off the fourth and once again locked in a figure four style hold. Hill escaped and hit Madison with a German suplex. Hill went for the four corners again, getting three and was close to four when Madison pulled on the rope hard enough to cause it to slide off Hill’s hand. When Hill went for the fourth buckle BB Madison came out and decked Hill with a punch that was loaded thanks to a chain wrapped around his fist. Referee Billy Dalton felt he had no choice but to call for the bell and award the match to Hill.

(7) ACW Heavyweight champion “Rugged” Ralph Mosca defeated “Raging Bull” Eddie Taurus.

This was the first chance Taurus had to get a shot at the man who took the title off him in controversial fashion two months ago and he looked prime and ready. After both men trash talked and traded pie faces to the chin the match began with a flurry of offensive moves from Taurus which made Mosca retreat to the floor. Mosca came back in the ring and traded corner moves with Taurus and got control with forearm shots and an elbow drop for two. Mosca locked in a Bear Hug but dumped Taurus to a corner where he delivered kicks to the chest. Both men traded punches to the jaw but Mosca raked Taurus’ eyes. Taurus paid him back with a powerslam and he went up top where he delivered a flying headbutt. The blow did damage to both men as Taurus struggled to get a two count pin. Taurus went up top again but this time he missed a legdrop as Mosca moved. Mosca got to his feet and hit a Burning Hammer to win. But the fight was far from over as David Mercury and Austin Amadeus hit the ring where they laid out both competitors. Taurus fought off both men but when it looked all clear, he dropped Mosca with a power bomb. Ray Beez came out and saved Mosca from any further damage. After the dust settled Mosca took the house mic and said Mercury would need more than Taurus and Amadeus to take the title off his waist. Mosca told the fans that he was part of the championship committee and challenged any of the trio to a tables match next month.

ACW 3/13 Results: 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup Qualifier

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thank you.

On Tuesday March 6, 2007 American Combat Wrestling held another event at the Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey, FL.

(1) ACW Heavyweight and Combat champion “Rough House” Ralph Mosca defeated Twizted Vengeance.

Before Twizted’s opponent came out Mosca hit the ring. Mosca claimed Twizted’s ego was bigger then his body. Mosca said he paid Twizted’s opponent off and he would be facing Twizted in a non-sanctioned match. To the shock of all Mosca began the match with actual wrestling, amateur moves to be exact. That ended when he tossed Twizted to the floor and the violence began with forearms and pool cue shots to the back. The action came back to the ring where Mosca hit a power bomb but refused to let the three count hit the canvas. Instead he hit one into the ring corner and a butt splash to Twizted’s face. Mosca rode Twizted and drove forearm shots into his face until he decided to roll him over to get the pin.

(2) Jaison Moore (happy birthday) defeated Ray Beez.

Beez began with some chain wrestling that was countered by Moore’s speed and two clotheslines sent Beez to the floor for some personal time. Moore followed him out and sent Beez into the ring post. But when the action came back to the ring Moore made the mistake of sending Beez in first, which allowed Beez to lay the boots to Moore’s face. Moore rolled to the floor but Beez followed out and dropped an elbow off the ring apron. Both men struggled but beat the referee’s ten count back into the ring. Back in the ring Beez hit a two suplexes, the second a back suplex for two. Moore revered a corner whip and hit a clothesline and Rolling Thunder for two. Moore ducked for an attempted backdrop and Beez saw it coming, moving to hit a neckbreaker for two. Beez dropped Moore on the top turnbuckle but Moore fought Beez off, sending Beez back to the ring. Moore came off with a double boot stomp to the back of Beez’s head for two. Beez got to his feet and delivered some kicks to the chest and back before going up and missing the Dumpster Dive. Moore capitalized and locked in a crossface like submission hold to get the victory. After the match Sideshow came out to have the fans serenade Moore for his birthday, complete with a cake. After the song Sideshow tossed the cake into Moore’s face, which Beez picked up for an after match snack.

(3) Nooie Lee defeated Dany Only of Dogmatika (w/Sideshow)

Before the match Only told the fans that he wished Sideshow the best of luck later on and wanted to face Lee on his own. Lee did the smart thing and took the taller Only off his feet with an armbar. Only countered into an armbar of his own but Lee countered back into the armbar but Only kicked him in the gut. Lee shot Only off out of a side headlock but got run over by Only. Lee fought back with a Japanese armdrag which sent Only to a corner. Lee got the armbar on again and applied some pressure to the wrist but Only got to his feet and placed Lee on the top rope. Surprisingly Only backed out of the corner clean and allowed Lee to get down. Only began to use his size advantage and hit Lee with a shoulder breaker for two and stretched Lee out on the mat. Lee fought to his feet but a cross bodyblock led to a slam from Only and a legdrop for two. Only charged towards Lee in a corner but got a boot to the face then a top rope cross bodyblock for two. Lee used some kicks to the upper body to wear Only down for a two count and threw some European forearms also getting two. Only stopped an Irish whip and hit a boot to the face followed by a Shining Wizard for two. Only followed with a knee to the gut and a clothesline for two and went for a duo of suplexes also for two. Lee avoided a corner splash and hit an enziguri but Only didn’t fall to the mat. Instead he fought Lee’s next move but couldn’t fight off a Russian legsweep into a pin.

(4) In a 2007 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup Qualifier, Sideshow of Dogmatika defeated ACW Cruiserweight champion Austin Amadeus, Nick Fame and Shayne Swift.

Sideshow accused Fame and Amadeus of being a couple, which led to an interesting position in the corner. Swift sent Sideshow to the floor and joined the action with top rope corkscrew plancha onto the other three opponents. Fame and Swift returned to the ring where Fame rode Swift and ducked a Sideshow clothesline. Amadeus returned to the match and hit Sideshow with a neckbreaker for two. Swift hit a kick but Sideshow ducked and hit a power bomb. Fame decked Sideshow with a leg lariat but Amadeus decked Fame with a forearm. Amadeus went for a superplex on Fame but Sideshow and Swift caused a Tower Of Doom effect. Amadeus went for a corner move but Swift moved and hit a Blockbuster. Fame went for a crucifix but Sideshow kept his balance and hit the Double Penetration to win via pinfall.

(5) Shan Hill of the Syndicate defeated “Modern Revolution” Steve Madison.

Madison backed Hill to a corner and just when it looked like he was going to break clean, Madison hit a forearm and when Hill went to retaliate Madison went to the ropes. The same thing happened again but this time Hill followed and kicked Madison right in his ass. Hill followed with a backdrop and hiptoss for two. Hill went for a corner move but ran right into Madison’s fuzzy boots. Madison got on the offense with some questionable moves but locked in a rear chinlock. Madison let the hold go and hit a second rope fist drop before raking his nails down Hill’s back and choking him in a corner. Madison hit a bodyslam and went up again but this time his jaw met Hill’s boot. Hill followed with a spinebuster but couldn’t get the pin. Both men traded punches but Hill got the better of the exchange but his German suplex got countered but Hill escaped a back suplex into an inverted DDT for two. Hill went for another German suplex and again Madison countered out. Madison went to the corner and got his rope. But his swing for Hill’s head only got air and Hill got a school boy rollup for the pin fall. Madison was beaten but it didn’t look like the war was over.

ACW 3/6 Results: 3 Debuts and One All Out Brawl

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thanks.

On Tuesday March 6, 2007 Legends of Wrestling presented American Combat Wrestling at the Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US 19 N in New Port Richey, FL

The show was opened by “Rough House” Ralph Mosca who talked about his war with Dim Bala last week. He also said he had the unfortunate task of talking to Eddie Taurus about the ACW Heavyweight title. Taurus said he injured his back four weeks ago and now his doctor has deemed him unfit to wrestle. Mosca said ACW gave some options about what to do with the title while he was injured. The main option was to strip Taurus of the title or he will be could defend the belt. Mosca said the office had an opponent and he was ready to wrestle. But when Taurus turned to the locker room to see who his opponent was, Mosca got behind Taurus and choked him out. He made the referee count the pin and Ralph Mosca is your new ACW Heavyweight champion.

(1) Shayne Swift defeated Twizted Vengeance.

Twizted began with an attack on Swift’s left arm but Swift decided to take things to the air with a head scissor and a plancha to the floor. Swift stopped his own momentum and Twizted hit a blow to the mid section. Twizted decided to throw the rules out and use several cheap shots on the popular Swift. They all did nothing as Swift hit a Rocker Dropper but his handstand splash missed the mark. Swift recovered and hit a reverse huricurana which drove Twizted’s head into the canvas for the pinfall win.

(2) ACW Cruiserweight champion Austin Amadeus and Jose defeated Dogmatika (Sideshow & Dany Only).

This was the first match for Dogmatika since their brutal TLC match against Sedrick Strong and Joshua Masters and they showed little rust. They took turns beating up Amadeus while keeping Jose in the corner. Finally Amadeus got some control and tagged in his near 400 pound bodyguard. Only tried to fight back but Jose was overpowering in his moves. He also used some illegal chokes and got some help from Amadeus behind the referee’s back. Only was close to tapping out to a bear hug but somehow he held on and tagged out to Sideshow. Things got confusing as Jose and Only fought on the floor, Sideshow hit Amadeus with Double Penetration but Jose turned Amadeus over into a sunset flip in. After the match Sideshow commented the recent turn of events in ACW, including tonight’s controversial title change. Mosca came out to say the only reason Dogmatika had the titles was due to Syndicate member Bam Bam Bigelow being unable to compete when they held the belts.

(3) Big Daddy Pimp defeated Cousin Dale (w/Momma) via DQ.

Pimp got tired of listening to Dale’s entrance music so he jumped Dale. But it backfired as Dale hit him with punches to the jaw. Pimp got his senses back and avoided a corner splash. Pimp hit a legdrop but Dale had plenty of fight in him. After tossing Dale to the floor, Pimp grabbed his walking stick and tried to break it over Dale’s head. Momma could only watch on as he man was choked by the walking stick. The action finally came back to the ring where Pimp kept on the attack with a power attack. But nothing got him a pin and it began to make him frustrated. Dale fought out of a rear chinlock but dropped a forearm stopping an attempted backdrop. Dale avoided a clothesline and hit a flying forearm for two. Dale went for a sunset flip but Pimp countered into a two count of his own. Billy Dalton ordered Pimp to stop throwing punches, so Pimp argued his case by poking Dalton in the eyes. While Dalton was blinded Pimp got a chair from under the ring. But Dalton’s vision was coming back so he tossed the chair into Dale’s arms and fell to the mat. Dalton saw the chair in Dale’s hands and decided to call it a DQ win for Pimp.

(4) Nooie Lee defeated the debuting Dr. Heresy.

If the name Dr. Heresy sounds familiar then you watched IPW Hardcore and some northeastern promotions. Being unknown the fans threw language at him only drunken sailors use. Heresy played hit and run for a few minutes, he hit Lee with slaps and then ran for his life. Heresy made peace with Lee via a handshake then spit in his face. Lee chased Heresy around the ring but when he got back in Heresy was waiting with a boot to the face. Heresy kept Lee grounded with several power moves but he couldn’t get the three count. On a corner whip Lee got his boot up and Heresy got his jaw knocked around. Lee hit a cross body block for two and followed it with a frogsplash to win.

(5) In a dual debut match, Ray Beez defeated Erick Stevens.

Before the match Stevens took the house mic to say hello to the fans in his own way. On two straight lockups Stevens backed Beez to a corner and slapped him. On the third occasion Beez repaid the slaps with one of his own. The two men traded armdrags but Beez got Stevens in an armbar. Stevens escaped and bailed to the floor but Beez followed him out and escaped a shoulder breaker to the post. Instead he sent Stevens crashing into it chest first. Stevens told the referee he was injured. Billy Dalton and Beez fell for it and Stevens picked up Beez in a fireman’s carry and tossed him head first into the ring post. He followed that by throwing Beez into the post in an out of control fashion that made the fans think Beez was out on his feet. Stevens tossed Beez back in the ring and kept attacking the head and neck. Beez seemed defenseless as Stevens just kept pounding the upper region on Beez’s body. Beez escaped a body scissor by making it to the ropes and causing a break. Beez got an adrenaline rush and went on the attack after avoiding a corner splash and hitting Stevens with a German suplex for two. Beez and Stevens hit each other with clothelines and fought to beat the referee’s count. Stevens caught Beez of the top and hit a top rope powerslam but got only two. Stevens hit a low blow and told the fans it was over. It was over as Beez got a school boy rollup for the pin. Stevens didn’t like that outcome and beat Beez down to the mat for several minutes.

(6) Shan Hill and “the Marquee” Bruce Santee fought to a double countout.

Before the match Santee told the fans he asked for this match after Hill screwed him last week. Santee said it wasn’t about Hill it was about Steve Madison. At the opening bell Hill hit a dropkick that sent Santee to the floor. Hill followed him out with the punches and chops not far behind. The punches and kicks turned into a Santee choke hold and the match ending via countout as Billy Dalton couldn’t the participants back to the ring. Both men fought to the locker room as the fans followed the action. The action actually came back to the ring and the two men traded moves until Santee snapped. He took the house mic and tore into the ACW office for what he felt was poor management. Hill said he knew Santee was selfish but he never knew he was a quitter. Hill challenged Santee to a hair vs. beard match. Santee reiterated his feelings and it looked like he declined the challenge from Hill. With the house mic trashed by Santee, Mosca took the mic to say he was tired of the bitching from certain wrestlers in the locker room. Mosca challenged Santee to a match next week if Santee decided to return to ACW.

ACW 2/27: Jakes/ Mosca In a Barbwire Match. 1st Time in ACW History!!

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thanks.

Tuesday February 27, 2007 Legends of Wrestling presented American Combat Wrestling at Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey.

(1) In a scramble match, Jaison Moore defeated Nick Fame, Shayne Swift and Dany Only of Dogmatika.

What should have been one on one on one on one, quickly turned into everyone beating up Fame. Only followed Fame to the floor where the violence continued as Swift and Moore wrestled. Only and Fame came back to the ring as the fans chanted, “Nick is gay.” Swift tagged in and picked up where Only left off, kicking Fame’s ass all around the ring. Moore followed suit with a T-Bone suplex as Fame couldn’t tag out. Fame got Moore with a superkick and finally tagged out to Only. That didn’t work well for Only as Moore hit Rolling Thunder to the corner and Fame tagged in to deliver a running boot. The action went to the floor where Swift hit his opponents with a springboard plancha. Only got in the ring and then hit his opponents with a baseball slide dropkick. The match came back to the ring where it did become everyone for themselves as they hit each other with high impact moves. Only hit Fame with a Rock Bottom but before he could get the cover Moore dumped Only to the floor. Moore seized this chance to get Fame in the crossface submission.

(2) “The Marquee” Bruce Santee defeated “Mourning Star” Marcus Hall.

Early on this match was about Santee’s strength and Hall doing everything he could to try and avoid it. Hall went to the ring apron after a series of power moves left him gasping for air. Santee went to the ropes to get Hall and that backfired as Hall grabbed Santee’s arm and dropped to the floor. Hall dragged Santee to the floor where he drove Santee’s shoulder and arm into the ringpost. After Hall got Santee in the ring it was an all out assault on the left arm and shoulder. Santee fought out of an armbar submission and hit a flapjack like move. Santee fought back with right hand punches and got the pinfall victory via the deadly Big Dump.

(3) ACW Tag Team champions Sedrick Strong & “Canadian Dream” Joshua Masters (w/Fetish) defeated State Line (ACW Heavyweight champion “Raging Bull” Eddie Taurus & Damien Angel)

Never at a loss for words Strong took the house mic and proclaimed his team the best team to ever wrestle. He took some time to insult the fans and their opponents who are former tag team champions. Angel and Masters were ready to start when Masters demanded Taurus enter the ring. Both men traded armdrags but it was Taurus who took control with a wristlock. Masters countered out into a takeover of his own and focused on Taurus’ wrist. Taurus escaped and hit a series of moves which sent Masters backing to his corner to tag in Strong. Angel tagged in as well and we were at square one. Angel focused on Strong’s arm while Strong focused on getting to the ropes. Strong caught Angel in a side headlock and took it over to the mat. Angel fired back as he got to his feet and hit a spinning head scissor. Taurus and Angel began to gel once more as they worked on Strong’s arm. Their offense ended as Angel went to the ropes and Masters kicked him right in the back. Playing on Taurus’ temper, Masters and Strong kept spitting and shouting insults to bait him in the ring. When this occurred Fetish, Strong and Masters went to work with their illegal maneuvers. Despite their effort Angel refused to be pinned or would he submit. After what seemed like an hour Angel tagged out to Taurus who went on the offensive. State Line was getting ready for a double team move when Fetish shoved Taurus off the top rope. After getting rid of Angel, Masters and Strong hit Taurus with a double team chokeslam to get the pinfall. Taurus needed assistance to the locker room after that move.

(4) In a return match, “Modern Revolution” Steve Madison defeated Shan Hill of the Syndicate via DQ.

Before the bell Hill charged the ring and took it right to Madison with high powered moves that sent Madison to the floor. But Hill quickly went out and brought Madison back into the ring. But the offense stopped when Madison dumped Hill over the ropes and made Hill’s tailbone crash on the ring apron. Madison got on the attack and broke every rule that existed while he worked over Hill’s back. Hill got a sunset flip for two but Madison quickly hit him with a closed punch to the jaw. Madison locked in a rear chinlock but Hill got to his feet and hit a flying forearm. Hill followed with a DVD but his pin attempt never happened as Bruce Santee hit the ring and Madison in retaliation for last week’s screw in the main event. Hill and Santee exchange heated words as Santee tried to get to Madison. After Hill left the ring Santee took the house mic to tell Madison if he wanted to get to the top of ACW he would have to get past “the Marquee.” Madison said he would be ready for a match, but not tonight.

(5) In the 1st ever BarbWire Weapons match in ACW, Dim Bala (formerly LaDuke Jakes) and “Rough House” Ralph Mosca of the Syndicate fought to a no contest.

I quote jigsaw, “Oh yes there will be blood” and there was plenty to be spilled. Dim Bala backed Mosca into a corner and drove the wire right into the back. Dim Bala kept on the attack dragging Mosca’s forehead across the ropes. That opened up a huge gash and Bala kept digging into the wound. The problem was each punch gave Mosca an adrenaline rush which led to a bodyslam and an elbow drop for two. Mosca grabbed his 2x4 (which was wrapped in wire) and cut Bala’s face open. Mosca followed with kendo stick shots to the back and forehead. Mosca got Bala to his feet and backed him into the wire but Bala raked Mosca’s eyes. Bala got Mosca to his feet only to drive the Asiatic Spike into the throat. Mosca fought back with punches and a DVD for two. I think Mosca actually bit a chunk of Bala’s forehead and spit it to the floor. Bala fought back with a chinlock that looked more like a straight out choke. Mosca escaped and went up top hitting a cross body block for two. Bala once again got the choke on but this time Mosca couldn’t fight out of the hold. For some unknown reason referee Billy Dalton ruled the match a no contest. That didn’t stop Dim Bala who performed some sort of voodoo ritual on Mosca unconscious body.

ACW 2/20 Results from NPR FL, Two Title Changes

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thanks.

On Tuesday February 20, 2007 Legends of Wrestling presented American Combat Wrestling from Bourbon Street Night Club at 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey FL.

The show was opened with a ten bell tribute to Mike Awesome who passed away Saturday night.

(1) Jaison Moore defeated Nick Fame.

After Fame finished insulting the ringside fans he locked up with Moore. Well actually he did some sit ups and pushups which Moore broke up with a kick to the body and some offense which Fame cut off. Fame used some borderline legal moves but Moore hit a suplex and a senton for two. Moore got a backslide and then a rollup but when he got up from the rollup Fame dropkicked hit face. Fame kept the offense going but Moore countered a corner whip, hitting a forearm, clothesline and rolling thunder to the corner. However Fame got to his feet and hit a superkick for two. Fame got cocky and went for a second superkick but Moore caught Fame’s boot and took him over into a crossface like move for the submission victory.

(2) Austin Amadeus (w/Jose) became ACW Cruiserweight champion when he defeated Nooie Lee.

Before the match referee Billy Dalton warned Amadeus and Jose in advance of any underhanded tricks they might use against Lee. Lee started the match on an up tempo with armdrags, hiptosses and other moves that Amadeus stopped with a chest cracker and shoulder blocks in the corner. Amadeus kept his attack focused on Lee’s ribs even as Lee hit a tornado DDT for two, but Jose draped Amadeus’ leg on the ropes. Lee hit another DDT and somehow Amadeus kicked out before three. Amadeus used a leverage move to send Lee to the floor and waiting arms of Jose who pummeled Lee before sending him back in the ring. Lee fought out of a chinlock only to be hit with a backbreaker for two. Amadeus made a tactical error and Lee hit three enziguri kicks for a two count. Lee kept on the attack as he hit an Angel’s Wings like move on the ropes and Jose got Dalton’s attention to stop the count. Lee got a DVD set Amadeus’ legs clipped Dalton. This allowed Jose to slide in and break up a Sharpshooter with a sideslam. Jose pulled Dalton to the pin and we had a new champion.

(3) “Modern Revolution” Steve Madison defeated Shan Hill of the Syndicate.

Instead of Hill, Madison came out and complained about not being part of the King of Florida event. He then said Hill’s injured neck from this weekend would be his downfall tonight. However when Hill hit the ring Madison was reluctant to lock up and fooled Dalton into believing Hill hit him with illegal punches. All that did was anger Hill who took it out on Madison’s crotch by dropping it on the top rope. Madison went to the floor to regroup but Hill came out and tossed him in the ring. Hill followed in and Madison kicked him in the ribs but Hill fought back with chest chops and clotheslines. Madison slid to the floor again to literally get his breath back. Once back in the ring he challenged Hill to a test of strength but kicked Hill in the ribs. Madison went up top but Hill slammed him off and Madison once again slid to the floor. Hill chased Madison to a wall but his punch met the wall instead of Madison’s jaw. Madison traded punches and slammed Hill on the floor. It looked like Hill’s neck suffered damage and Madison went right to work on it by torquing it into unfamiliar angles. Hill slid off Madison and got a rollup for two. Madison went for a pin attempt and used the ropes for leverage but couldn’t get the win. Madison made a mistake and Hill made him pay with a spinebuster. Hill blocked punches and hit Madison with some and a clothesline followed. Hill hit a backdrop which got the adrenaline flowing big time. But Madison got a hotshot and found his bell to use on Hill. Madison came off the top rope but Hill hit him in the ribs. Hill found the bell on the mat and went to use it on Madison but Dalton stopped him. This allowed Madison to get a school boy like pinfall victory with a hand full of tights.

(4) In a TLC match, Sedrick Strong & “Canadian Dream” Joshua Masters (w/Fetish) became ACW Tag Team champions when they defeated Dogmatika (Sideshow & Dany Only).

Masters and Strong took the mic and insulted the fans who threw tampons in the ring. They reminded the fans that they were screwed last week and invoked a rematch clause. These two teams picked up where they left off, brawling in and outside the ring. Sideshow used a cookie sheet to flatten Strong’s forehead as Only fought with Masters in the ring. Dogmatika took over using some crotch shots to even the sides and got the ladder from the ring. They trapped Strong behind it in a corner and flunged Masters into it, causing the ladder to fall on Masters as he hit the mat. The fight went to the floor again where Masters and Only traded trash can lid shots. Strong leveled Sideshow with a lid shot and a slam of the ladder on Sideshow’s prone body. Strong decked Sideshow with a tag title belt but didn’t get the pin as Masters kept decking Only on the floor with any weapon he could find. Masters joined Strong in a double suplex of Sideshow but Only saved his partner with a sawed off pool cue. Masters got on the attack with a backbreaker and a top rope elbow. Strong hit Sideshow several times in the head with a trash lid but Sideshow got the actual can and leveled Strong as Masters set up a table in the ring. Masters ended up on the table and Only hit a frogsplash but didn’t follow with a pin. Instead Sideshow hit Masters with a top rope elbow through the table but somehow Strong broke up the pin. Masters and Only fought for position and Masters hit Only with a German suplex for two. Masters and Strong dumped Sideshow to the floor and focused on Only’s back and neck. To the shock of many Only kept kicking out of pin attempts. Masters set up another table at ringside as Only blocked a superplex and hit Strong with a cross bodyblock for two. Strong hit Sideshow with a Burning Hammer but got two. Sideshow hit Double Penetration but Strong kicked out. Sideshow climbed the ladder as Masters was set up by Only. But it backfired as Strong hit Sideshow with a spear. Only tried to get to his partner but Masters and Strong double teamed Only with a Rock Bottom into the ringside table to win the titles.

(5) ACW Heavyweight champion “Raging Bull” Eddie Taurus and former champion and 2007 King of Florida “the Marquee” Bruce Santee fought to a no contest.

This match came to be after Taurus won the title off Santee and Santee defeated Taurus to win the King of Florida event last weekend. Taurus and Santee traded chain wrestling moves until Santee and Taurus traded shoulder tackles leading to one count pin attempts. Taurus took Santee to the mat with armdrags but Santee got control when he tossed Taurus shoulder first into the ring post. He followed with a straight jacket neckbreaker for two. Santee followed with a Saito suplex for two as he focused on the shoulder of the champion. Santee stayed aggressive on the shoulder and neck with a neckvise but Taurus refused to submit. Instead he fought to his feet but ran right into Santee’s boot. Santee locked in a reverse chinlock but Taurus fought out of it again, this time Santee ended up on the mat after a powerslam. Taurus went up top but Santee met him but Taurus fought and hit a flip power bomb. Both men were near being counted out but got to their feet. Taurus and Santee traded forearm shots but it was Taurus who faired better with moves until hit crucifix was countered into a Samoan Drop for two. Taurus decked Santee and went up again, this time missing a legdrop. Santee waited for Taurus but his Big Dump was countered. However Santee countered a Taurus move and hit an Axe Bomber. Just when it looked like the title was going to change hands, “Modern Revolution” Steve Madison hit the ring and attacked both men. Referee Dalton called for the bell as Madison tried to knock both men out with his cowbell but security was able restrain Madison.

ACW 2/13/07 Results from New Port Richey, FL

Please credit Alan J. Wojcik of http://alanwojcik.com if used, thanks.

On Tuesday February 13, 2007 Legends of Wrestling presented American Combat Wrestling from Bourbon Street Night Club, 4331 US 19N in New Port Richey, FL.

(1) Jaison Moore defeated Shayne Swift.

Both men began with some chain wrestling but Moore went after Swift’s left arm and shoulder. Moore almost dislocated Swift’s jaw with an inverted cracker jack. Moore’s waistlock got reversed and Swift sent Moore to the floor. Swift followed out with a plancha and a slingshot version back in the ring. But a huricurana became a Moore delivered power bomb to a corner and Rolling Thunder soon followed. Moore hit a slam but a top rope move was stopped by Swift and a top rope huricurana. Swift kicked both of Moore’s legs but a head kick was missed and Moore floated into a Cobra Twist like submission victory.

(2) “Modern Revolution” Steve Madison defeated ACW Cruiserweight champion Nooie Lee.

Before the match Madison took the house mic proclaiming himself tougher then anyone in the ACW locker room. When Lee got to the ring he showed how tough he was by going right at Madison with a high flying arsenal. It went well until Lee’s third cross bodyblock got canvas instead of Madison. Lee quickly recovered into a side headlock which he refused to release even after Madison hit a back suplex. Things got fast paced when Lee sent Madison to the floor and went for a plancha but Madison saw him and threw Lee into the ring post. Back in the ring Madison hit a Tilt-A-Whirl backbreaker and held it for a submission but Lee refused to give up. Madison locked in a bearhug but Lee escaped with a bell ringer only to run right into an elbow. It looked like Madison was toying with Lee as he choked him on the ropes. Lee fought back with a inside cradle and then a backslide for two, followed by a flurry of offensive moves. But that ended when Lee’s bodyblock became Madison’s powerslam pinfall victory.

(3) Austin Amadeus defeated Nick Fame and the returning Damien Angel.

This was Angel’s first match back after a severe neck injury suffered in Daytona Beach months ago. He had a minute or two to plan things out as Fame immediately went after his former partner Amadeus. Angel waited for their fight to enter the ring before hitting both men with cheat chops. Fame and Angel hit Amadeus with a suplex and then played can you chop harder then me on Amadeus’ chest. Amadeus fought back but Fame hit an enziguri but Amadeus fired back with a DVD into a gutbuster. Angel got to his feet and brought Fame and Amadeus off the top rope as Fame was going for a superplex. Fame hit Amadeus with a superkick but Angel hit Fame with a leg lariat. Just as it looked like Angel was going to win when he locked Amadeus in an arm submission move but a large Puerto Rican man came out and chokeslammed Angel and Fame into the mat so Amadeus could win by pinfall. After the match Amadeus told the fans the man was named Jose and he hit Fame with a power bomb.

(4) Syndicate members “Rough House” Ralph Mosca and Shan Hill defeated Cousin Dale (w/Momma) and Twizted Vengeance.

Before the match Mosca took the mic and said he delivered on his promise to recreate the Syndicate with Hill as the third member. Mosca and Dale began the match but it was Mosca and Hill who controlled it with hard hitting power moves. Dale reversed a corner whip and was able to tag out to Twizted who was clotheslined into the middle of March by Hill. Mosca tagged in and the power moves got harder with a chest driver into a corner. Dale and Mosca fought to the floor where Dale leveled Mosca with a garbage can shot but Mosca laid out Dale with the same can. In the ring Mosca hit Twizted with a facebuster and Hill hit a second rope moonsault to win via pinfall.

(5) “Latin Sensation” Ricky Romeo defeated LaDuke Jakes via DQ.

Romeo didn’t look enthused to be facing the 300 pound walking killing machine. Jakes showed his power advantage the entire match throwing Romeo from one side of the ring to the other. Romeo’s shoulder blocks were ineffective as he ended up on his shoulders. Jakes used the ropes to choke Romeo but missed a corner splash. Romeo hit a corner clothesline but got hit with a double chop thrust to the neck. Jakes hit a powerslam but got two so he went back to the neck with a choke. Romeo ducked an elbow and hit a clothesline and followed Jakes to the floor, which proved to be wrong as Romeo met the ring post with his face. The action came back to the ring where Romeo hit clothesline that didn’t knock Jakes down but got leveled with a weapon of some kind. Referee Billy Dalton called for the bell but the fighting just began as Mosca charged the ring and fought with Jakes all over the night club.

(6) In a Hard Core match, ACW Tag Team champions Dogmatika (Sideshow & Dany Only) defeated Sedrick Strong & “Canadian Dream” Joshua Masters (w/Fetish)

Needless to say this match went all over the night club and back again. The four men used anything they could grab from bar stools, the venue walls, tables, garbage can lids and even beverages. Only hit Masters with a Russian legsweep from the ring apron into a wall as Sideshow and Strong fought on the floor. Only made a mistake by wearing rib tape as it was a bullseye for Strong and Masters. With Only hurting Sideshow had to fight for his life and the titles. On the floor Strong suplexed Sideshow on a garbage can but got two. Masters went for and missed a top rope elbow as Only sat up and moved. Only hit Masters with a suplex and a swinging neckbreaker but Strong broke up the pin. Strong hit Only in the ribs with a tag title belt but his chair shot to Sideshow’s head did nothing as the adrenaline kicked in. sideshow hit Strong with a backcraker but got two. Sideshow hit a Catatonic into a backbreaker but didn’t go for the pin. Instead he got a folding table from under the ring and set it up in a corner as Only and Masters fought on the floor. Masters hit Sideshow with an Acecrusher but Only hit him with a Rock Bottom and then hit Strong with a superkick. Sideshow hit a sideslam into the table but didn’t get a break or pin. Sideshow and Only went to put Strong into the table but Masters stopped that. Sideshow went up top and hit Strong with an elbow to win. After the bell Masters put Sideshow through the table with a top rope splash but it was after the fact as the champions retained.
