XM Radio Suspends Opie & Anthony

WASHINGTON and NEW YORK, May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- XM Radio announced today that the company has suspended Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia, hosts of "The Opie & Anthony Show" and ceased broadcast of the show for 30 days, effective immediately.
XM Radio deplored the comments aired on "The Opie & Anthony Show" last week. At the time, the company strongly expressed its views to Opie and Anthony, and they issued an immediate apology.
Comments made by Opie and Anthony on yesterday's broadcast put into question whether they appreciate the seriousness of the matter. The management of XM Radio decided to suspend Opie and Anthony to make clear that our on-air talent must take seriously the responsibility that creative freedom requires of them.
As a company, XM provides customers with tools to control what they listen to on XM. "The Opie & Anthony Show" appears on one of XM's explicit language channels (XL). Whenever a radio is tuned to an explicit language channel, the letters "XL" continuously appear on the screen. XM frequently mentions on its explicit language channels that the content may be inappropriate for certain listeners and tells how to "block" channels that feature this type of content. Channel blocking is available through xmradio.com or by calling 1-800-XMRADIO.

Dr. Keith Recap - Gabe Ruediger!

Dr. Keith Lipinski Show Recap – TUF's Gabe Ruediger
Recap by Brian Cooper of http://www.BigVanVader.com

To listen go to http://www.F4WOnline.com or http://www.DrKeithShow.com. This is a MEMBERS ONLY~! show. Dr. Keith returns with part deux of this week’s extraordinary episode. The heavyweight show of audio lore spent some time in the sauna to make weight and welcomes the fanciful "Godzilla" Gabe Ruediger to the show.

*** *** ***
Gabe Ruediger Recap

Dr. Keith begins by asking Gabe to step on the scales for him. Gabe says that the scales read TWO FORTY-THREE and that between Burger World and Kispy Kreme (Donuts) endorsements; he’s making FOUR MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR. But alas, Gabe admits he’s lying and only weighs 171. This is the first time Gabe hasn’t made weight as he claims to losing 20 pounds on three occasions in the past and ultimately blames himself.

Keith asks where Gabe spent his $300 he won for winning his first fight? Gabe answers icing cake. Gabe says the cake eating incident was a week or two prior to the date of his fight and tragically, the cake was overrated. The THONGS and NUNCHUKS in season 5 were just props but says Andy Wang might actually have won his fight if he was allowed to use them in battle. Corey Hill admitted to Gabe that he was showing off in front of the cameras.

The good doctor asks Gabe if he appears on the show again? Gabe is contractually obliged not to say but does confirm that this is not the end for Gabe Ruediger. Keith then admits how much he wants to HUG Ruediger. Keith asks whether being named Gabriel made Gabe want to be a fighter? Gabe then CALLS OUT Keith and asks if he is mocking him. Keith says he prefers to call fighters MMA artists, before Gabe informs the doctor what the a in MMA stands for (hint: its an artist!).

Keith asks if Gabe was happy with Team Penn’s name of the Bad News Bears? Gabe points out that Jens’ first two picks were strategic and that he was confident he could’ve kicked Corey’s ass. He says that he and Robert Emerson are actually good friends off the show. Gabe says that he is impressed with Nate Diaz but calls Marlon Sims a joke and laughs at Marlon’s story about his street fight with three hundred people, joking that he was impressed seeing it in a Jean Claude Van Damme movie.

SHENANIGANS~! are discussed. Gabe says he had no set dialogue before he entered the show and talks about his ‘hungry dog getting raped’ phrase. Keith asks if Gabe often uses the word TOMFOOLERY? Gabe has but prefers the LOLLYGAGGER word. On BJ Penn, ‘he is by far the most gifted thlete in the World.’ Gabe says that BJ has said he will end the fight with Jens Pulver with an armbar to the left arm saying that he will ‘pull a Babe Ruth’ and point his finger towards the stands.

On crying, Gabe says he cried THIRTEEN times in the first week, EIGHT in the second and FORTY-TWO in his last week but defends that he isn’t ashamed of crying. ‘Don’t cry’ responds the doctor. On the CHLONIC IRRIGATION, Gabe says that BJ actually suggested it and he (BJ) has had it done to him in the past, although he would prefer to be remembered for shenanigans rather than chlonic irrigation and FOOD.

Gabe says that Dana’s speech was justifiable but feels that Dana has to get one of his speeches out every season. He confirms all three of the female listeners of the Dr. Keith Show that that was his real ass on display. Gabe goes into detail of when he passed out admitting that he ‘fucked up’ as he was far too interested in the television show than in fighting. Gabe says he ate because there wasn’t much to do in the house and likens himself to POPEYE. He also mentions his strep throat infection while he was trying to cutting weight.

The CHUBBY TITS nickname is talked about with Gabe finding that quite ‘ridiculous.’ If Gabe could re-live his tie in the Ultimate Fighter house he’d come in shape but would still pull his shenanigans. Keith suggests a boxing match if Gabe fails to make weight again. The interview finishes with Gabe putting over his friend Jeremy Williams and hopes that the listeners can help out the family (go to http://www.nogi.com). Check out http://www.gabegodzila.com or http://www.myspace.com/gabegodzilla. Very good interview.

Joey Mercury Recap

Joey began wrestling in 1996 at sixteen years old and never took any time off until last year. In 1999 he was under contract to WCW after Uncle Eric was ordered to recruit more Cruiserweights. He was originally on the indie circuit with Shane Helms and Shannon Moore doing a boy band gimmick but they all got the call up and Sugar Shane and Sweet Shannon for Three Count and Joey worked three matches in seven months and eventually got cut. At the time he wishes he was a part of Three Count but in hindsight saw it (much like many things in his career) as happening for a reason.

Joey Mercury and Christian Yorke are actually distant cousins which happens to summon Nurse Keith's transvestite voice. Joey talks about how and Christian became part of the old ECW and how Paul kept his promise and they worked every show, although doesn't speak of any promises that were kept. When ECW folded the two got a call to work the WCW Cruiserweight tag team division with Rey Mysterio Jr. and Billy Kidman. Bruce Prichard then gave Mercury a call and Terry Taylor gave the green light for Mercury to jump but got the cut when Vince bought WCW. The two then worked the first TNA PPV but the six match contract didn't pan out.

After a ten minute history lesson, Keith asks about his time in ECW, Joey says he knew the end was nigh when Heyman started no-showing shows and that TNN never wanted them to succeed. 'My heart broke when it went bankrupt.' Keith asks if he's surprised that TNA are still alive? Mercury says he was incredibly skeptical at first. On ROH, Joey says he knew Gabe from ECW and is still a fan of their product and has had a couple of stints there, both ending being fired 'several times.' Keith asks if he was fired due to Special K drugging his drink? Apparently not. Joey says he chose XPW in Philadelphia (during the Philly Turf Wars of 2002) when the two promotions were rivals as was offered double but ultimately was unhappy in XPW.

Joey talks about wrestling in OVW and had a great match with Lance Storm on Heat. Joey went to OVW on his own dime as his girlfriend at the time (Alexis Laree who became Mickie James) received a developmental deal. Talk about the OVW class, and the impressive list of OVW alumni. Joey became friends with Big Dave Batista in OVW who was recuperating from one of his tricep tears and through Danny Davis managed to get free training in OVW. Joey then puts over the Colon's for helping him out in Puerto Rico and Carlito for knowing that Joey needed work. On OVW being cut by Vince kje DSW: 'I don't think OVW is going anywhere,' and recommends OVW to every aspiring wrestler. Joey puts over Lance Storm and Al Snow and says the goal of every wrestler is to become World champion and if it's not, 'then you're in the wrong business.'

Jim Cornette put Mercury together with Johnny Nitro and Melina. Joey based the MNM gimmick on watching Paris Hilton with the paparazzi following her and tried to be a modern day Freebirds. Dr. Keith asks about the Melina scream and asks if she would be the Terry Gordy of the group. Joey says that Melina intended Dr. Keith and the fans hatred towards her 'primal scream.' John Laurinaitis told Joey Mercury that he'd never call him up because he was 'a drug addict' and tried to replace Mercury with Chris Cage in MNM. Laurinaitis then tried with Joey's good friend Matt Cappotelli in MNM which also didn't work. Mercury and Nitro then went back to OVW and fought The Dudley Boyz which was seen by Stephanie McMahon and she immediately called up MNM overriding everyone's favorite Vice President of Talent Relations. Joey put over the talented crew at OVW and the veterans who would come down and work with the guys to help them get better in the ring.

Joey talks about going forty or fifty minutes on house shows with Eddie Guerrero getting the heat. Keith asks about Joey's relationship with Laurinaitis, in light of Laurinatis said he would never call him up for being an 'addict'. Joey goes off-topic; 'I started using drugs and alcohol at fifteen years old, at the time it was fun, there were benefits to doing it, but overtime I needed to do it, and when it stopped, I needed to keep it going. Then I had too because I couldn't feel normal until I was doing them things, whether it was booze, cocaine, painkillers, crack-cocaine, prescription drugs, anything. I was really bad for a very, very long time. I knew I had a problem as it wasn't fun anymore. I was feeling negative consequences in my personal life and I still didn't stop. And that's the definition of being an alcoholic or being a drug addict.' Joey says that his father dried as a drug addict when he was only eight and all his father's five sons are alcoholics.

Keith asks how many times Mercury has been to rehab after first violating the Wellness policy. Joey talks of Eddie's death and the flight to Europe that night. Booker T sat Mercury down on the flight as he could sense Mercury was wasted. Joey related to Eddie as the two shared the same demons and Joey could always rely on Eddie to talk too. Joey was dating Christie Hemme at the time and she had enough. Joey then gave all his drugs to a friend to flush down the toilet but his body had become too reliant. 'Where are my sweet drugs?' proclaims the doctor. Rey Mysterio called for help when Mercury had a mini-stroke o the tour. Laurinaitis told Mercury on the flight home that he must go for help but it never really happened. Mercury says he has overdosed three times in his life and wrecked seven cars.

Wellness day came. The policy called for the wrestlers to show an improvement had been made. On the eve of Judgment Day 2006, Laurinaitis called Mercury aside and told him he was sending Nitro and Melina to Raw and Mercury to rehab as the WWE were afraid Nitro was going to die under their watch. Joey entered rehab for four-and-a-half months. 'It was the hardest thing I've ever done, but by far the best thing I've ever done for myself,' and puts over the WWE as the 'greatest company in the World' for helping Mercury out and says he screwed up himself. Joey says he sought advice from Shawn Michaels, William Regal, and Eddy Guerrero. As a contrast, Mercury says that Johnny and Melina don't go out much and don't drink with Joey trying to hide his addictions from them.

Back in OVW, Joey didn't recognize much of the 'talent' talking of all the breast implanted diva's that were signed up. Joey was happy that his former tag team partner became two-time Intercontinental champion. Keith asks about the Armageddon match with the ladder incident. The doctor asks what went through Joey's mind? 'A ladder.' Joey says the blood was more like syrup than any blood he was used to and he thought he had lost his eye. He looked up at the Titantron to see if his eye was hanging out. Nick Patrick then took Mercury to the back. Joey says he was cut to the bone, shattered the bridge of his nose, two additional breaks on the inside of his nose and took thirty stitches under his eye. Joey says he came back far too soon and became hooked on painkillers again, he didn't tell anybody. He passed two drug tests in February but in March he wrestled Ric Flair and Carlito in Chicago (same town as their debut) and got his eye swollen shut and the next night at a taping he took some un-prescribed medication and was sent home by Laurinaitis.

Joey says he will entertain any offer in the future and says he has been clean for forty three days and is taking one day at a time. He puts over his love of pro wrestling. Keith asks who Mercury is keen on wrestling this summer? Joey name-checks Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Senshi. Joey utters 'no comment' on Jillian Hall's mole. The interview finishes looking at what the future holds towards Joey Mercury and his dedication towards his profession. Fine, fine interview. Check out Joey working for Fight Sports Midwest TONIGHT in Portage Indiana (for more information go to http://www.fightsportsmidwest.com/) and tomorrow for IWA-MS in Joliet, IL (for more information go to http://www.iwamidsouthwrestling.com/)

UFC's Luke Cummo Recap

Dr. Keith gives Luke Cummo ‘a really nice introduction.’ Luke was impressed that his UFC 69 victory over Josh Haynes was broadcast on the PPV. Cummo says he is now a purple belt in jiu-jitsu but the Serra’s weren’t impressed when Joe Rogan proclaimed how stingy Matt Serra is with his belts.

Keith asks about the Ultimate Fighter finale with Joe Stevenson. Luke says he got on well with Joe but Joe tapped him several times in training so he altered his gameplan. Luke then talks about being offered the six figure contract despite losing with the good doctor talking about how the fight is still talked about.

Matt Serra’s title win is talked about. Luke says that Matt’s motto for training is ‘prepare for the worst and hope for the best.’ Luke thinks that George St. Pierre underestimated Serra. Keith asks how the two celebrated their wins. Luke says with Texas barbecue and God Of War 2 and is looking forward to some Nintendo Wii goodness.

Luke talks about his Kung Food series available to view on http://www.lukecummo.com and delivers a dieticious spiel and attributes the diet to why he doesn’t have to cut weight. After food talk we get DRINK talk and whether Joe Rogan was correct in his assumption that Cummo drinks his own URINE. Luke says he has received a lot of NEGATIVE reaction to drinking urine but talks of the POSITIVE effects. Luke gives advice to all fellow PISS DRINKERS to the best ways to store and drink the good juice. Keith asks if Luke pinches his nose whilst drinking? Luke says he doesn’t like it watered down, because ‘IT DOESN’T HAVE THE TASTE.’

Dr. Keith asks about the Welterweight division and what guys Luke thinks will give him the most problems? Luke says guys that like to dominate on the ground such as Joe Stevenson. Keith asks about a possible rematch with Josh Koshcheck, Luke puts Josh over but would be confident in a rematch. Keith asks about Josh looking for decisions in his fights, Luke says that MMA isn’t fighting due to the rules and it takes two to make an exciting or to make a boring fight.

Keith asks if Luke would ever consider ditching MMA to become a full-time ninja? Luke says he wouldn’t tell anyone if he did. After comic book talk, Keith talks about Luke’s Darth Vader voicemail and asks for Luke’s favourite Star Wars movie. Keith unleashes a Mick Foley ‘yeah’ at the Empire response.

Luke says he used to get six weeks notice to fight in the UFC and says he’d like more preparation time, saying that Randy Couture asks for ten weeks. Cummo gives advice to any Ultimate Fighters and wouldn’t mind being a coach on TUF. Luke talks about the importance of conditioning and technique.

Keith asks about the increasing amount of positive drug tests found in Mixed Martial Arts. Luke doesn’t like to be judgemental but says some peoples choices are self-destructive. After a brief foray into politics, Keith and Luke discuss he prospects of UFC working with HBO. Keith asks about Luke matching up with Serra? Luke says he gets beat down too many times in training.

Dr. Keith finishes by asking if Luke fought in Japan, what special costume he’d wear? Luke says an imaginary, mythical creature, although rebukes the doctor’s Sasquatch suggestion as they are not imaginary. Luke finishes by giving a retro UFC post-match speech thanking his sponsors and the fans. Check out http://www.lukecummo.com

Keith begins with the observation that the radio can’t pick up how tanned Joey Eastman is right now, Joey notes that not even the sun can pick up how tanned he is. Joey then states that the IWA Midlothian crowd is the ‘ugliest group of people to ever congregate in one area,’ mentioning the ‘no-eared midgets’ and ‘fat girls with their breasts larger than their stomachs’ in attendance. Barlow asks if a tan will help these sorry people. Joey replies only DEATH can help the fans of IWA Midlothian.

Onto more pressing matters, and will Joey’s lemon and lime pants be this years must-have fashion item? Joey says he reads Cosmo but not GQ as he’s not GAY, and yellow bell-bottoms are the way to go. Joey finishes by asking the fans to put money into his pocket as he’s sick of being on welfare before discussing the forthcoming Chris Candido memorial show TONIGHT in Streamwood Illinois as Promoter Ed Chuman mentnions “you forgot Black Machismio” Words to live by... Keith asks if Mike’s five year mission much like Star Trek's five year mission for Chikara is complete? Mike says it is ongoing and says that 2007 will be the biggest year to date for Chikara saying that it’s a colourful alternative to the stagnant WWE product. Doctor talks about his love of Chuck Taylor and Ultramantis Black. One half of the ROH tag team champions, Keith asks how Mark is after the botched shooting star press in Detroit on WrestleMania weekend. Mark says the tests came back fine on his head, but he found out that he had a broken neck at some point that had since repaired itself. Keith wonders if it’s the healing powers of BriscoePhysics. He also thinks his shoulders popped out of joint, ‘but that’s alright.’ Mark says he was ready to get back in the ring after it happened but was taken to hospital and tells a story where he got violent in the ambulance, and even Sugarfoot Alex Payne could not calm him down.

Keith talks about FIP barroom brawl in Florida with Madman Pondo & NECRO BUTCHER~! and suggests Mark wear some headgear, perhaps the Hulk Hogan fist helmet? Mark thought Keith said fish with both agreeing that a fish helmet would be far more appropriate.

The good doctor then discusses his hatred for Shane Hagadorn over Shane’s attempt to put chewing gum over the doctors notes. Mark agrees to rough Shane up alongside his brother. Keith finishes asking if the Briscoe’s intend to challenge again for the GHC Junior Tag Team belts, before going off to find the beer store. Good stuff. Check out http://www.briscoebrothers.com/

Plus: Keith and Bill's thoughts on the ROH and IWA-Shows, how great are Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin when they are not involved in tomfoolery? Why are there always parks around wrestling shows? Why don't more wrestlers use the swing sets? How great was the Joey Ryan vs. Chuck Taylor match at the IWA-MS show (really great)? Fun stuff direct from both shows and if that’s not all - gourd flute versions of Prince songs. Thank you.

Jay's first appearance with The Mayhem is now available for FREE in Real Audio.

Here are some of the highlights from the interview, provided by The Mayhem's co-host, The Big Mosh.

======================================================

*Jay started off the interview by answering Mosh's first question about what is his response to anyone who comes up to him with the words "Black Machismo." A simple response we will be hearing more of in the weeks & months to come..."O yeah!!!!!"

*He is very excited about the character change, especially with the more television time he has been receiving. Jay has been following Kevin Nash's words of "playing the race card."

*He has not had the chance to meet Randy Savage yet, but he hopes that if he would run into "The Macho Man" down the road, that he would see his Savage impersonation as a tribute & a sign of respect.

*Along with the rest of TNA's roster/crew, Jay is looking forward to being a part of this weekend's Lockdown festivities. With heading to St. Louis (as well as other recent & future new areas for the company), Jay summed it up best: "The people outside of Florida have been begging for us to come there."

*In what many are calling the "dark horse match of TNA Lockdown," Jay has a chance to capture his first X-Division Championship, in the Xscape Match (vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley vs. Shark Boy vs. Sonjay Dutt). He feels that the Six Sides Of Steel will add a new element to the contest, his second-ever cage match in TNA. "There's no way to train for this kind of match."

*Jay credits Kevin Nash for him being where he is in currently in the company. "The Paparazzi Idol skit was huge for me, and now I'm on television every week." Nash is all about helping to get the X-Division over & to a new level. He would also have no problems defending the X-Division Championship against "Big Sexy" if he comes out on top this Sunday night.

*TNA is heading back to where it all began -- Nashville, TN -- this upcoming June for Slammiversary, Total Nonstop Action's five-year anniversary show. Before looking forward to this event in "Music City," Jay wished to look back at his favorite moments in his time in TNA history: which included competing against Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, as well as taking on "The Samoan Submission Machine," Samoa Joe for the first time in the six-sided ring.

*If you did not have a chance to check out Jay's entrance into the TNA Impact Zone this past Thursday night on iMPACT, Jay encourages all fans to stay tuned for more "madness from Black Machismo."

*An absolutely hilarious 40+ minute interview, with "Black Machismo," covering plenty of additional topics (including whether or not he will be competing in future Ring Of Honor events in 2007 & beyond, the insanity of certain wrestling fans, WrestleMania weekend vs. Lockdown weekend, what he does outside of the ring, & plenty more -- which can be head here: (www.mondaynightmayhemarchives.com/waxfiles/040907.wax: streaming & http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mondaynightmayhem/~3/108308325/040907.mp3: MNM podcast).

(http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/mondaynightmayhem/~3/106294681/040107.mp3: podcast) The program featured the best & most complete WM coverage around, with analysis & in-depth previews of the event, with the help of some special guests: The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, The Mayhem's National Correspondent (and former WCW/TNA announcer) Scott Hudson, former WWE Intercontinental/European Champion D-Lo Brown, Gerweck.net's Michael T, former ECW World Tag Team Champion/former WWE Intercontinental Champion Lance Storm, Figure 4 Wrestling's Dr. Keith Lipinski, ProWrestlingPress.com's Nate Stein, THQ Creative Manager for WWE's "SmackDown vs. RAW" video game Bryan Williams, & The Monster Factory's Jim Molineaux & Ed Atlas. All of this, plus the 2007 Monday Night Mayhem Hall Of Fame Ceremonies. Which six individuals were inducted into The Mayhem's hallowed halls and given the show's highest honor? You have to tune in to find out...

*We invite you fans to call into The Mayhem Line (presented by The Monster Factory) with your pre-recorded questions/comments for upcoming guests (including "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, former MAD TV star/current star of Showtime's "Underground," Aries Spears, & many others) at (866) Mayhem-7...that's (866) 629-4367 Option #4. E-mail the program at MondayNightMayhem@hotmail.com, take part in the interactive chat room & The Mayhem Message Board (both located at www.MondayNightMayhem.com), as well as visiting The Mayhem on MySpace (at www.MySpace.com/MondayNightMayhem) if you wish to interact with The Mayhem Crew as well.

Dr. Keith Show Recap - Excalibur, Steve Austin
Recap by Brian Cooper of www.BigVanVader.com

Listen now. A FREE SHOW!
http://www.f4wonline.com/free/040607dks.mp3

Dr. Keith Lipinski Show this week presents an all star edition of the finest trainwreck of a radio program on the entire World Wide Web today! Two hours, two great guests, two idiot hosts. Fantastic!

Commissioner of Food & Beverage for PWG, Excalibur Recap

Excalibur objects to being called the current Commissioner of Food & Beverage for PWG as it implies he won't be a commissioner for particularly long. Keith romanticizes over many a Wednesday night Thunder in 2000 with weekly WCW commissioners (including Commissioner Funk, Commish Nash, commissioner above average Mike Sanders, and Commissioner Cat). Excalibur asks Keith if he knows of Paris, France? Keith has, through the lyrics of Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls." Excalibur learned his food & beverage commissioning skills at various strip clubs.

Keith asks about beverages becoming unstable. Excalibur says he doesn't involve himself too much in the beverage pouring although he regularly sticks his hands in the cooler and his fingers in the nacho cheese to check for the most adequate of temperatures. Excalibur says when he finishes with a glass he just throws it on the floor. Dr. Keith has no problem with that attitude as long as shoes are worn.

Excalibur talks about Top Gun Talwar's drug problem. Keith asks if Top Gun's drug problems are covered up by financial bribes and promises of moonpie? Excalibur credits the Taliban with trying to cover up Top Gun's issues. Keith asks of issues between the two PWG commissioners (the other commishioner being the Commish Of Wrestling Dino "no relation to Steve" Winwood)? Excalibur says that Don Rickles then has the say just in case him and Commish Winwood are at disagreement.. Excalibur talks about the confusion between the urine trough and the sink. Keith suggests ice for the urine trough which Excalibur takes note of.

Wrestlemania talk. Keith is still wondering if Donald Trump ever got his damnn sandwich and recommends Excalibur as a Commissioner of Food & Beverage in the WWE. Excalibur previews the Easter PWG All Star Weekend V shows and the apearances of Kaz Hayashi, Low Ki and Samoa Joe. Keith asks if Low Ki had any food and beverage requests. Excalibur says a box of meat from Omaha Steaks changed Low Ki's opinion of Excalibur and PWG. Keith thinks that the greatest non-chocolate covered Easter Sunday treat would be the appearance of Samoa Joe.

Excalibur says former tag team champion and one half of the tag team "Cape Fear", Quicksilver is pretty messed up and won't be re-appearing in PWG anytime soon. Keith asks if Quicksilver could become a commissioner instead. Excalibur recommends a commissioner of posing or jesticulating. Keith asks about the face "Scorpio Sky"? Excalibur says that Joey Ryan brought in an impostor Scorpio Sky. Keith asks what Excalibur will miss most out of Colt Cabana apart from his little toe? Excalibur says that the grieving process started when Colt lost his little toe, it was only a matter of time because the rest of him was gone.

Dr. Keith hopes that Excalibur will bake a cake after El Generico's and Human Tornado's world title atch? Excalibur might prepare fat-free yogurt but is opposed to baking a cake, not only due to the baking and preparation standpoint but also the risk of a food inspector becoming involved if the cake is used in any kind of angle. Excalibur says he made the decision to bring the Briscoe brothers back as they sell food and beverage.

Excalibur previews the forthcoming DDT4 Tournament which as a Dr. Keith Exclusive he names the show will be titled "Dynamic Diumvirate Tag Team Tournament." Keith says if he could make love to a card, he'd make love to this one. Excalibur says he won't return to the ring for sometime as he feels he serves the fans better in a food & beverage capacity. Excalibur talks of bringing in several Chikara Pro talent to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and asks why Dr. Keith's check didn't clear for the Chikara trios tournament? Apparently Dr. Keith couldn't bring himself to return his recent porn purchases.

Dr. Keith asks about the skit were Excalibur was wheelchair bound to the tune of Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror. Excalibur is appalled that as a Doctor, that Keith was erroneous in reporting it was a PWG show. In actual fact is was a GSCW charity show were the promoter ran away with the gate. Excalibur tells a wheelchair bound story in which he claims to be the greatest ever assault performed behind a referees back that will probably never be duplicated.

Excalibur says that the history books you will see the future of PWG laid out that in four or five hundred years will cover the length and breadth of the known world and will end in a fiery fiddle soundtrack tragedy. The two talk of Kikutaro trying to get into PWG full-time as he's only paid in peanuts in All Japan. Excalibur finished by plugging several PWG shows including the DDT tournament on May 19 and 20 (including CIMA vs. Bryan Danielson , PAC vs. Brian Danielson, and yes El Generico vs. CIMA ), the four year anniversary in July and the 2007 Battle of Los Angeles on August 31 - September 2. Check out http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com/

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin Recap

Austin talks about his youth watching World Class Championship Wrestling and calls the Von Erichs 'rock star Gods or wrestling' and how Kevin Von Erich introduced himself three times to Austin as he couldn't remember the first two times. Movie talk. Austin says he brought the movie to Vince McMahon and not the other way around. Austin called the original script 'atrocious' before eight re-writes.

Stone Cold describes the fight training for the film completely different from pro-wrestling as he memorised the fights as opposed to wrestling and working from the crowd response. Austin did all the smaller stunts, other then three stunts that a stunt man did. On being the next action guy, 'I don't wanna be the next action guy' wanting to broaden his horizons as an actor. Dr. Keith asks if he can see himself doing any romantic comedies or musicals. Surprisingly a no on the musical front but he wants to do comedies down the road but not anytime soon, more wanting to do solo driven material.

Austin puts over co-stars Vinnie Jones and Robert Mammone likening asking Mammone for advice to asking Ric Flair advice in wrestling.

Keith asks about Nathan Jones. Austin talks about scrapping with Jones as part of the film and how he got a black eye on the set. Keith asks the parallels between The Condemned and pro-wrestling. Austin tells of
one of the characters based to a degree on Vince McMahon and concidence between the price of the webstream and the price of the Mania PPV.

Keith asks if Austin had any acting lessons? Austin said he learned as he went along just like in wrestling although he hired a coach whilst learning dialogue. Austin confirms he has two more films left with WWE films but wants to work with all the Hollywood stars at some point in the future. Check out http://www.watchthemdielive.com/

ROH (Ring Of Honor - www.rohwrestling.com)

April 8th: Mark Briscoe is going to be listed as questionable for this weekend's shows in Long Island and Edison. He is scheduled to meet with his doctor on Thursday, but a decision might be made sooner than that so that we can release full lineups for both Long Island and Edison. We guarantee you that we will bring you the best match ups possible this weekend. We will have much more on both these shows starting tomorrow in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire. You can now save 15-20% on tickets to both shows at ROHwrestling.com.
April 8th: This is the ROHwrestling.com Newswire the fans of Hartford and New England have been waiting for as we have three main event ROH vs. NOAH matches to announce for the 5/11 return to Hartford. The first match features all the champions of ROH right now. Nigel McGuinness has asked for a shot at the ROH World Tag Team Titles since he pinned The Briscoes on 2/16. ROH officials have agreed. Since Colt Cabana was McGuinness' partner on 2/16 and he won't be in ROH by 5/11, ROH officials have decided to let McGuinness pick any partner he wants. To everyone's surprise McGuinness has selected ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima as his partner. This makes this Saturday's McGuinness vs. Morishima World Title Match in Edison, NJ even more interesting. If The Briscoes make it to 5/11 with the straps they will put them on the line against McGuinness & Morishima in Hartford. This match will take place whether The Briscoes are champions or not. You can now save 15-20% off on tickets at ROHwrestling.com.
April 8th: Two first time ever singles ROH vs. NOAH bouts have also been signed to Hartford. May 11th will witness KENTA vs. Delirious and Naomichi Marufuji vs. Matt Sydal. These two matches don't need any hype!!! There are still a few second row tickets left for this event and you can now save 15-20% on all seats at ROHwrestling.com. There is an updated lineup at the end of this ROHwrestling.com Newswire for the big return to Hartford.
April 8th: In case you haven't guessed, there is now a 15-20% off EVERY ITEM at www.ROHwrestling.com until April 11th. Act now for big savings on all the new big releases. This includes the raved about "Fifth Year Festival: NYC" featuring the Samoa Joe vs. Takeshi Morishima bout that Dave Meltzer gave ****1/2 and called "the best match so far this year." This DVD is the start of the six show Fifth Year Festival series and we urge you to watch every DVD in order and from start to finish. You will not only witness Joe vs. Morishima on "Fifth Year Festival: NYC" but a loaded card from the sold out Manhattan Center including: Homicide returns home as ROH World Champion to put the belt on the line against Jimmy Rave; Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Nigel McGuinness & Colt Cabana; Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong for the ROH World Tag Team Titles; Brent Albright vs. BJ Whitmer in a brutal Tables Are Legal Match; Jack Evans vs. Shingo vs. Jimmy Jacobs vs. Xavier in an action packed Four Way Fray; Delirious vs. Adam Pearce plus more!!! This is one of those must have ROH DVDs that everyone will be talking about.
April 8th: Look for a new ROH Video Wire at www.ROHvideos.com on Monday with lots of highlights from Detroit including Mark Briscoe's scary SSP and Jonny Fairplay getting knocked out.
April 8th: Just a word to those planning to go to the big May 12th show at the Manhattan Center. ROH has sold out its first three events in that venue. May 12th is already 3/4 sold out without any matches announced yet. We take this as a huge compliment from you because it shows that you trust us to produce the best show possible. We value this trust greatly and will do everything to reward the fans that have already made this show a success. Simply put, this will be a night that you will never forget. If you are interested in attending don't risk getting shut out. All remaining tickets are 15-20% off now at ROHwrestling.com.
April 9th: Ring Of Honor is ready to return to action this weekend. This Friday in Long Island, NY and this Saturday in Edison, NJ are sure to be very emotional shows for Colt Cabana. It will be Cabana's ROH farewell to the East coast. Cabana has grown in ROH since 2002 and given fans from Boston to Philadelphia some good times and great memories. When it was time for Cabana to branch out of the Midwest he came to the East coast. These fans have watched him grow with ROH. Now Cabana will have a chance to thank them for all their support over the years. Cabana is in two singles matches, which will let him combine his entertaining style and European wrestling skills. Long Island will see Cabana vs. Delirious in a rematch from the Fifth Year Festival. Edison will feature a first time ever in ROH one-on-one bout as Cabana squares off against the returning Doug Williams. This will be a true test of both athletes' technical skills. Cabana will not disappoint in his final ROH matches. You can now save 15-20% on tickets to both events at ROHwrestling.com. Don't miss your chance to say goodbye and show your appreciation to Colt Cabana this weekend in Long Island and Edison.
April 9th: We have a ticket alert for you. Tickets for the April 28th event in Chicago have become one of the hottest selling tickets in ROH history since the announcement that the card would feature Colt Cabana's final ROH match. We urge you to get your tickets now if you plan to attend what will be a very special evening. You can save 15-20% on tickets until Wednesday night at ROHwrestling.com.
April 9th: The new ROH Video Wire is up now www.ROHvideos.com and it features Jonny Fairplay getting knocked out, a clip of Mark Briscoe's scary shooting star press and much more from Detroit. It is completely FREE with no strings attached at ROHvideos.com and on rohvideos.com.
April 9th: Congratulations to SHIMMER for having a turn away crowd last Saturday for their latest DVD taping. SHIMMER is preparing to crown its first champion in June. To follow up the momentum of last Saturday the biggest women's tag team match in ROH history has been signed for 4/27 in St. Paul. SHIMMER action will see The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew of Lacey & Rain return home to St. Paul to face the undefeated duo of Sara Del Rey & Allison Danger.
April 9th: The stipulations for Ultimate Endurance featuring ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw vs. Hallowicked & Gran Akuma vs. Mitch Franklin & Pelle Primeau have been determined. Each fall has a different stipulation in this four way elimination match. The first fall with all four teams can only be won by tap out. The second fall with the remaining three teams will be a Tag Team Scramble, meaning that no tags are needed. The final fall with the last two teams will be for the ROH World Tag Team Titles. The duos of Quackenbush & Jigsaw as well as Gran Akuma & Hallowicked are both highly touted with strong reputations. Could they earn a ROH job in one night and win the world tag team titles? More surprising things have happened lately in ROH. This will be an opportunity of a lifetime for all three challenging teams. This match promises to bring a lot of action to St. Paul.
April 9th: The 15-20% OFF EVERYTHING SALE at www.ROHwrestling.com continues until Wednesday night. Save big on tickets to all ROH live events, rare Japanese merchandise, figures, books and lots more from TNA, WWE, NOAH, FIP, SHIMMER and many other promotions. This includes all the new ROH releases like "Fifth Year Festival: Philly" with the historic Homicide vs. Takeshi Morishima World Title Match plus: Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal defend the ROH World Tag Team Titles vs. Jack Evans & Shingo; Roderick Strong vs. Delirious for the FIP World Heavyweight Title; Samoa Joe says goodbye to Philly vs. Jimmy Rave; Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. El Generico & Kevin Steen in the show stealer; Austin Aries vs. Claudio Castagnoli; Lacey, Jimmy Jacobs & Adam Pearce vs. Daizee Haze, BJ Whitmer & Colt Cabana in a wild Philly Street Fight; Nigel McGuinness vs. TJ Perkins and more. Don't miss out on the "Fifth Year Festival" series!!! Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com to see how you can save 15-20% on the NYC and Philly DVDs, but make sure to act before Wednesday night.
April 9th: A feud that has been burning on the undercard and preshows in ROH will now be settled in Edison on Saturday. Shane Hagadorn will put the Top Of The Class Trophy on the line against Pelle Primeau. If you've been following the ROH Video Wires you know there have been several altercations between these two. Who is the best graduate of the ROH Wrestling School?
April 9th: People who have seen the "Fifth Year Festival: NYC" DVD are raving about the Four Way Fray that had Jack Evans vs. Shingo vs. Jimmy Jacobs vs. Xavier. Long Island will see a rematch of the finals of that elimination match. This Friday will have Jack Evans vs. Shingo one-on-one. These two tore down the house at the Manhattan Center after battling Jacobs and Xavier. Now these Dragon Gate stars will be fresh when they have a singles match in Long Island. Will they steal the show again?
